Medium rare pork tenderloin

I'm having pork tenderloin today. Sauteed in olive oil to medium rare. Along with cauliflower with butter, and sauteed onions, mushrooms with garlic and ginger. Fried potatoes.
PT is the only cut of pork that I prefer medium rare. Every other cut I like well done.
Trichinosis is very rare in farmed pork, although it can still occur.

I doubt you "sauteed" the pork tenderloin.

Saute.... to fry quickly in a little oil... works for me.

I have sauteed medallions of pork tenderloin and then made various bream
sauces. Two of the more memorable ones were one with mushrooms and
another with curry and chopped dried apricot.

Maybe if it was sliced very thin?

I've never looked up the official definition but in my mind, it's
something cooked for a short time, in a bit of oil over low or medium
heat. Not necessarily finished but at least softened and partially cooked.

Only the pork tenderloin I like medium rare. It doesn't have much in the way of internal fat and tends to dry out if taken past med.Rare.

I cooked a pork shoulder last night on the rotisserie. I made some mushroom gravy and made a plate for my wife to take to work. For her, I cooked the pork in the gravy a little.

Speaking of lovely, we went to the pizza joint down the street and I made up a pie. My son thought I went a little overboard but my goal was to test the structural integrity of the crust - it passed with flying colors. Well that's my story and I'm sticking with it!

It is always a pleasure to see rice with a little kim chee and takuwan on the side. The gravy was made with pork drippings which are plentiful in the Showtime rotisserie drip pan. The color comes courtesy of dark Chinese soy sauce.

Looks like a pretty sturdy whisk! Mine's a lighter weight but works
fine for this type project.

There's a pizza place near here that we sometimes go to. They have
a cafeteria-style setup. As you walk through the line you can choose
toppings.

I would restrain myself in a situation if I were paying a hefty price. I
just looked the menu for a local pizzeria. It's a little more than $14
for a large pizza with cheese and pepperoni and 99 cents for extra
toppings.

I make my own pizzas. In fact, I am making one tonight. The dough is
rising and the vegetable toppings are all chopped and ready to go. They
were bits and pieces of what is in the fridge. We had 3/4 of a green
pepper, some roasted red pepper, about half a large red onion, some
cremini mushrooms and I might add a couple finely chopped Thai peppers.
There is a hell of a lot more of each of those toppings than a pizzeria
puts on.

I've made such a pizza too - back when I was into making pizza. I like pineapple and ham on a pizza too. My guess is that your husband is a real guy's guy and he doesn't care what a few wankers think about what's proper on a pizza.

This place has an odd pricing structure (although I can't quite access it
online at the moment):

1 topping
2 toppings
unlimited toppings

I'm insensitive to price, so I usually get unlimited toppings so I can get
as much pepperoni as I like.

We'd get pizza here more often, but their salads suck. So we usually
stay home and make our own.
