Thank you, Graham.

The article states, in part:

"The claim that these National Guardsmen were turning their backs on
Biden’s motorcade is based on the presumption that members of the
military should, at all times, stand at attention in the presence of the
commander-in-chief. But that’s not the case. In this video, for
instance, these members of the United States military are on duty to
protect the president against potential threats. In order to do so, some
are facing away from the street, while others are facing toward the
motorcade.

A spokesperson for the National Guard told us: “These National Guardsmen
were on duty with a mission to protect the president against potential
threats. Some are facing out to ensure the safety of all.” /end quote

Anyone who knows even the slightest bit about military protection
tactics would understand they can't all be looking in one direction when
trying to cover an area and the protectees against potential threats.
Dumbass trolls are clueless.

"Now, following the inauguration of Obama’s former veep, Joe Biden, one thing is clear: the cool kids are back in town. And if Wednesday was any indication, they’re going to make the next four years deeply insufferable...

That Joe Biden is even considered cool is quite a feat of airbrushing. It’s easy to understand why Kamala Harris is cool, given that she checks most of our present-day coolness boxes: progressive woman of color, never bores anyone with substance, spends most of her time auditioning for GIFs and clapping back at the furniture. But Biden? He’s a 78-year-old white Irish guy from a state people usually forget exists. He likes to ride trains, worked with segregationists in the Senate, and once warned about the creeping menace of Indian accents at Dunkin’ Donuts. Some of Biden’s coolness surely derives from his posse, including his wife, Jill, who, like all cool celebrities, once played a doctor on TV. Biden is also replacing Trump, whose idea of cool was to have McDonald’s cater a banquet, so the bar is admittedly rather low..."

"We feel incredibly betrayed’: Thousands of Guardsmen forced to vacate Capitol
Guardsmen were later let back into facilities after an outcry from lawmakers.

By LARA SELIGMAN, NATASHA BERTRAND and ANDREW DESIDERIO

Updated: 01/22/2021 10:08 AM EST

"Thousands of National Guardsmen were allowed back into the Capitol Thursday night, hours after U.S. Capitol Police officials ordered them to vacate the facilities, sending them outdoors or to nearby parking garages after two weeks pulling security duty after the deadly riot on Jan. 6.

One unit, which had been resting in the Dirksen Senate Office building, was abruptly told to vacate the facility on Thursday, according to one Guardsman. The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops, the person said. Temperatures in Washington were in the low 40s by nightfall.

“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” the Guardsman said.

All National Guard troops were told to vacate the Capitol and nearby congressional buildings on Thursday, and to set up mobile command centers outside or in nearby hotels, another Guardsman confirmed. They were told to take their rest breaks during their 12-hour shifts outside and in parking garages, the person said.

Top lawmakers from both parties took to Twitter to decry the decision and call for answers after POLITICO first reported the news Thursday night, with some even offering their offices to be used as rest areas. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) tweeted: “If this is true, it's outrageous. I will get to the bottom of this.” And Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) noted that the Capitol complex remains closed to members of the public, “so there’s plenty of room for troops to take a break in them.”

By 10 p.m., Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) said the situation was “being resolved” and that the Guardsmen would be able to return indoors later in the night.

“Just made a number of calls and have been informed Capitol Police have apologized to the Guardsmen and they will be allowed back into the complex tonight,” added Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.), who lost both of her legs in combat. “I’ll keep checking to make sure they are.”

A Guard source confirmed late Thursday night that all troops in the parking garages were ordered to return inside the Capitol.

Brig. Gen. Janeen Birckhead, the Guard’s Inauguration Task Force commander, confirmed in a statement to POLITICO shortly after midnight that the troops were out of the garage and back into the Capitol building as authorized by the Capitol Police Watch Commander. They will take their breaks near Emancipation Hall going forward.

In a statement, Capitol Police spokesperson Eva Malecki said the department recently asked that troops’ shifts be reduced from 12 hours to eight in order to allow for additional rest hours away from the Capitol complex. The statement did not explain why the Guardsmen were forced into parking garages.

On Friday morning, Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman insisted in a statement that the department “did not instruct the National Guard to vacate the Capitol Building facilities.”

“The Department is also working with the Guard to reduce the need for sleeping accommodations by establishing shorter shifts, and will ensure they have access to the comfortable accommodations they absolutely deserve when the need arises,” Pittman added.

Guardsmen who spoke with POLITICO were not given a clear reason why they were asked to vacate the buildings. The first Guardsman said it may have been due to a complaint that some troops were not wearing masks, but denied that was the case.

“We have strict guidance that masks are to be worn at all times unless soldiers are eating and drinking,” the Guardsman said.

Capitol Police asked troops to move their rest area on Thursday, said Guard spokesperson Maj. Matt Murphy.

“As Congress is in session and increased foot traffic and business is being conducted, Capitol Police asked the troops to move their rest area,” Murphy said. “They were temporarily relocated to the Thurgood Marshall Judicial Center garage with heat and restroom facilities. We remain an agile and flexible force to provide for the safety and security of the Capitol and its surrounding areas.”

Guard leadership did not make the decision and are “doing their best to provide rest shelter for troops who are still on 12-hour shifts protecting the Capitol and congressional grounds,” the second Guardsman said.

“There really may be an important reason for us to vacate and it just hasn’t been well communicated yet,” the second Guardsman said.

The troops are particularly concerned about being packed in tight quarters with limited bathroom access during a pandemic. At least 100 Guardsmen have tested positive for Covid-19, according to two Guardsmen. Some are quarantining in hotels.

A spokesperson previously declined to provide a specific number for troops who have tested positive for the virus.

After images went viral last week of troops sleeping on the floor in the halls of Congress, Guardsmen protecting the Capitol were initially provided cots, POLITICO first reported.

Thousands of troops have already left Washington after around 25,000 were called to D.C. to help defend it from potential threats ahead of President Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday..."

KAMALA HARRIS HAS BEEN TOUGH ON BLACK PEOPLE, NOT CRIME

A couple months ago, I was chillin’ at my potna house watching
football. During a commercial break, we started talking about Kamala
Harris — and my potna’s older cousin shouted, “Kamala Harris! She been
lockin’ niggas up at Renee (referring to the Oakland courthouse) since
way back in the day and was doin’ it with a smile on her face.” He
wasn’t wrong. Kamala Harris has spent her career as the district
attorney of Alameda County, San Francisco, and as the Attorney General
aka The Top Cop of California.

As someone from the Bay Area and living in Oakland, I am constantly
reminded of her history of locking up Black people in the Bay Area.
Her track record consists of terrorizing Black communities through the
prison industrial complex and she has consistently shown herself to be
an enemy to the masses of Black people.

While I admit the symbol of having a Black woman as president sounds
nice, it doesn’t exclude Kamala from being critiqued. I operate under
the political belief that there are no good presidents. Presidents are
just figureheads for the white supremacist settler colonial state. I
aim to have a principled critique of her record that advances Black
political thought, yet Twitter has been full of misogynist critiques
of Kamala. It is important we critique her while avoiding misogynoir,
as there is no place for misogynoir in the Black liberation movement.

Whether it was declining to advocate for legalization of marijuana in
California, in which Black people are arrested at the highest rate. Or
her failure to support body cameras for the police while
simultaneously opposing legislation that would require her office to
independently investigate police shootings. Kamala is not for the
people. She even defended the 3 strikes law, in which Black people are
incarcerated at a rate 12 times higher than whites. Kamala Harris has
demonstrated through her actions that she does not value Black lives,
but rather supports our death via the carceral state.

Kamala’s support of the death penalty, which is a modern day form of
lynching that has executed hundreds of innocent people, and also
disproportionately affects Black people proves that she doesn’t value
Black lives. Kamala even advocated that an innocent Black man named
Kevin Cooper, who was a death row inmate and had a trial that was
rooted in overt racism and corruption, be executed. She advocated for
this even though Kevin had DNA evidence that proved his innocence yet
Kamala Harris opposed it until the New York Times exposed the case.

Furthermore, America has no moral ability to be able to decide who
lives and who dies. The death penalty is fundamentally racist, yet
Kamala supports it — furthering her record as a tough on crime
politician.

Not only has she failed to support policies that might improve the
lives of Black people, she has defended the need for prison slavery.
What’s dangerous about Kamala is that she weaponizes “civil rights”
language however her actions prove otherwise. For instance, she said
“the idea that we incarcerate people to have indentured servitude is
one of the worst possible perceptions…I feel very strongly about that.
It evokes images of chain gangs.” Despite making the connection
between prison labor and chain gangs —she “pushed back against a
federal order to expand an early parole program, arguing that it would
deplete their stock of prison labor, especially inmates who fight
wildfires”. These inmates make a dollar an hour, which is a form of
slavery. Kamala is not only a super cop, but an adamant defender of
the institution of policing that is rooted in slave patrols.

Kamala Harris evokes the language of being a civil rights leader for
Black people. In her video announcement for president, she weaponized
words like “truth, justice, and equality” and her campaign slogan is
“for the people”. This is propaganda, and this campaign strategy isn’t
something new, rather it follows what I refer to as the Obama Plan.
The Obama Plan is a campaign strategy that will center a civil rights
type narrative such as “hope” and will also use all the elements of
Blackness we like in order to get a Black person elected. This
campaign uses the popular aesthetics of Blackness despite the actions
of Harris being fundamentally anti-Black.

Kamala used this plan by announcing her run for presidency on Martin
Luther King Jr. Day, a day that celebrates the radical legacy of a
Black man who stood for the liberation of Black lives with both an
anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist politic. Kamala Harris announcing
her run for presidency on MLK Day is disrespectful to King’s legacy
and is a spit in the face to the Black radical tradition. Her
announcing on MLK day is propaganda. It’s meant to fool Black people
that she’s actually for us, despite her actions terrorizing the Black
community through her role as a prosecutor. It shows us how Black
liberals will weaponize the aesthetics of a freedom fighter in order
to strengthen the united states colonial empire.

It is important that we understand that the “criminal justice system”
is built upon the legacy of chattel slavery, and that it’s primary
role is to lock up Black, Brown, and poor people to maintain a
workforce (re: slaves) that supplies America an endless amount of free
labor. This being said, Kamala has been the slave auctioneer and
sending Black people to prison in order to maintain this endless
supply of free labor. Yet some claim that she was a “progressive
prosecutor”. How can there be a progressive prosecutor if the
foundation of the criminal justice system is rooted in slavery and the
genocide of the indigenous? If she truly was a “progressive prosecutor
or a good prosecutor,” she would make sure that prosecutors do not
exist. There were no good slave owners, or slave auctioneers, just as
there are no good prosecutors.

Kamala Harris is what the Black radical tradition calls a
neo-colonialist. Neo-colonialism is the integration of a colonized
person into the colonized system in order to enact the policies of the
colonizer. That being said, Kamala is a Black face doing the job of a
white supremacist system. Neo-colonialism is white supremacist
colonial propaganda, and it is meant to fool the masses of oppressed
people that becoming the oppressor leads to freedom. Don’t be fooled
by symbolism. As Obama’s presidency showed us, symbolism does not mean
progress for the masses of Black people.

It is clear that Kamala Harris is not for the people. She is for the
American empire. Don’t let her identity as a Black woman, or her
identity as an AKA, or her status as an alumna from Howard University
fool you into thinking she is actually for us: Kamala don’t give a
fuck about you niggas.

I agree with your assessment, but you should have capitalized Trump.
Like most folks, I fart. I *do* try to minimize displeasuring others with
my farts. Many folks here think that I'm not nice, but I usually retreat to
the half bath in the basement to poop. Luckily, beans don't really make
me fart overmuch, which is good, because I eat a lot of beans. If they
did, I'd use Beano tablets, or the generic equivalent. Beans are a good
food. I don't pre-soak them, but put them in the pressure cooker in a
large Pyrex measuring cup with plenty of water, with more water
surrounding the cup. After they're cooked, I let them cool down a bit
before putting them in the blender on liquefy. Then I add plenty of fat,
most often peanut oil, and do the whole *frying* thing. The food cost
is low, and while it's labor intensive, the beans (pintos) are great when
combined with plenty of cheese, and doused with a good Mexican red
salsa, and sour cream.

I still adore meat, but once my son moves out, most of my Mexican
style meals will be vegetarian, as I feel that meat adds little to a
perfect bean & cheese tostada. It's not about healthfulness or ethics,
but the perfectness of the bean & cheese tostada, topped with sliced
avocado and perhaps chopped tomato--especially good, in-season
tomato.

Of course they were. His own remarks at a "rally" behind the White
House during the official counting of the Electoral College votes
incited a riot. Insurrection. He promised to be right there with them
on the march to the Capitol. Video of him pretty much inciting
insurrection was captured by news outlets (none with an agenda) who
filmed the "I'm still President" crap.

He's like Gollum in 'The Lord of the Rings'. My precious, my precious,
my White House. Uh, no. You lost the election, dude, so in the name of
Democracy and sanity and the United States, kindly get lost.

What I sincerely hope is they can impeach him to the point where he can
no longer run for any political office. Don't be fooled, his violent,
storm the Capitol supporters aren't gone. If it doesn't reach that
level of the impeachment process, he could well run again.

One would hope so. But these are the sort of fringe groups that the Big
Giant Talking Head has been trying to court and whip into a frenzy for
the last four years. One could hope they go quietly into that good
night when they finally realize "Gee, he wasn't there with us!" That's
doubtful. My hope is as perpetrators of acts of sedition against the US
Goverment are rounded up and arrested due to their own "Got to be on

It's unfortunate that the partisan politics are likely to result in an
acquittal even though he is guilty as hell, he and a number of other
Republicans who abetted the mob. However, I think it is unlikely that he
will run again. I thought that he was facing enough legal problems that
he is going to be too busy fighting charges to have the time and energy
to run a political campaign.

The biggest benefit of convicting him in the senate would be to bar
him from running again. I got the impression from comments made by a
number of Republicans that they think he has discredited their party and
he stands little chance of winning the nomination.

At the time they probably thought it was a great idea and they would be
look at as heroes. They are the ones that put Trump back in office and
now they have bragging rights.

We are laughing at how dumb they were but the deranged mind does not
think in the same logic. Trump had the same hold on them that Hitler
had on his people. They believed every lie he told them. When the
German Parliament building was burned down by his followers Hitler
blamed it on the Communists and used it as a way to absolute power.

The parallels disturb me. All I can say is I hope, hope, hope the

political office. Please, people, see reason. This guy is a lunatic.
Do not give him another chance.

I enjoyed watching the Inauguration. I felt it was very positive and a
lot of fun. I wasn't really expecting the entertainment aspect of it.
But it left me with a very positive feeling, there is hope that we might
be done with that President who slunk off to Florida.

Did you see the network coverage of his leaving the White House? (It was
minmal.) Melania was standing about 6 feet away from him on the
platform while he gave a weak "we'll be back" speech, looking like she
really didn't want to be there. The funny thing is even his beloved Fox
News dropped him like a hot potato. They didn't cover him, they covered
the Inauguration.

Trump is slinking off with his tail between his legs. Sore loser. He's
the first President in history to refuse to attend an Inaguaration.
He's the first President in history to incite a mob to violence and urge
them to break in to stop the Electoral College vote. To my way of
thinking, he committed an act of Treason. Against the United States and
the very people he claims he represents.

I'm sorry if so many people think the Former Adminstration is what
America is about. It certainly isn't what I believe in. I look forward
to the new administration with hope. I certainly don't expect miracles
or immediate changes. There is transition. But I feel much more
positive now than I ever did with the last 4 years of pure crap! Got to
give the new Administration time to settle in.

Maybe we do. Rather than compare that with Hitler, go back a bit more.

Our forefather's protested against their English govt.
And they fought and won (with help from the French)
Now our history considers them patriots and heroes.

Storm the Capitol? How about the Boston Tea Party?

I don't agree with what happened recently but I'll bet those people saw
themselves as modern day patriots.

The big difference is this:

The Boston Tea Party and the American Revolution were about real
grievances that they could not have redressed.

The Capitol insurrection was about a lie. They believed the Big Lie
fed to them by Trump and his acolytes, and they were wrong.

Yup...whenever I see her I think, "I can't SEE it...but I SURE can SMELL it...!!!", lol...

Also she reminds me of Moochelle O., I'm thinking, "Hmmm...could it be true that she's really a 'man'...???"

Here's a hilarious cartoon contrasting MO and Melania Trump:

https://www.mic.com/articles/143471/the-internet-is-freaking-out-about-this-antifeminist-political-cartoon

"A political cartoon is drawing the ire of Twitter users for the antifeminist values that seem to have inspired it.

The cartoon, titled #MakeTheFirstLadyGreatAgain juxtaposes Michelle Obama with Melania Trump. Michelle is drawn with a chiseled, masculine physique, while Melania appears feminine and pageant-ready, sporting heavy makeup and white gloves.

The cartoon seems to suggest that America needs to restore a "traditionally feminine" first lady to the White House, apparently rejecting the energy, confidence and athleticism Michelle Obama is known for.

Some Twitter users identified other problems with the cartoon. User @nsuviolin2005 described a not-so-accidental looking bulge near Obama's crotch area, which they took to imply that she was concealing a penis...

The artist, Ben Garrison, is a political cartoonist who specializes in libertarian illustrations. He claims that it was created in order to "express our outrage at the growing tyranny of Big Government."

Though Garrison told Breitbart in December 2015 that he doesn't officially endorse any political candidate, he said that he admired Trump's dedication to "shaking up the neocon-controlled Republican Party."

"He doesn't require a teleprompter to speak his mind and he doesn't give two shakes about 'political correctness.' That's refreshing. He's also fun to draw," he said..."

Graham, were you unaware of the entire history of Biden's continual lie about the 1972 fatal car crash? Biden continually spun the story of the truck driver who "drank his lunch" and killed his wife and child, despite knowing that the state police had investigated the accident and concluded that Mrs. Biden had strayed into the truck's path and that there was no evidence of the truck driver being under the influence of an intoxicant. The truck driver repeatedly requested to Biden that he stop saying that he had been drinking, but Biden ignored him for years, repeating it even after the truck driver's death, about 20 years after the accident. The man's daughter continued her father's request and finally, a few years ago, Biden privately apologized and stopped doing it...

That's *all* past history now, Cindy...we're in safe hands now with Joe von Hindenburg as POTUS and Kamala "I can pass for White if I need to" Harris, so don't worry, be happy...

Bobby McFerrin

"Don't Worry, Be Happy"

Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry, be happy
In every life we have some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now

Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry, be happy)
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry, be happy)

Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy
The landlord say your rent is late
He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy
(Look at me I'm happy)

Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be Happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Here I give you my phone number
When you worry call me, I make you happy
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh

Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got no gal to make you smile
But don't worry, be happy
'Cause when you worry your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
So don't worry, be happy
Don't worry, be happy now

Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Don't worry, be happy
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Don't worry, be happy

Now there, is this song I wrote
I hope you learned it note for note
Like good little children
Don't worry, be happy
Listen to what I say
In your life expect some trouble
When you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy, be happy now

Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Don't worry, be happy
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Don't worry, be happy

Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry, don't worry, don't do it, be happy)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
(Put a smile on your face, don't bring everybody down like this)
Ooh, ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(Don't worry)
Ooh oo-ooh ooh ooh oo-ooh
(It will soon pass, whatever it is)
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
Don't worry, be happy
Ooh oo-ooh oo-ooh
I'm not worried, I'm happy..."

Her visage belongs on the cover of Mad Magazine

Kamala Toe is disgustingly ugli on the inside.... she and Joe Schmoe
Biden don't together have the IQ of a slug, neither is American.
When the real attack arrives from the Commies, both will pee their
panties... Joe Schmoe Biden has been wearing panties for more than 50
years.
I wasn't pleased with most that Trump did but that was the best
America had at the time, Trump and family talked too much and loose
lips sink ships.
I'd have prefered Reagan but he was not a choice.... actually I'd've
much prefered Ike... then the Chinks would've peed their panties.
Trump and family never went to boot camp, all cowardly FAGGOTS!
No Trump impresses me, I'd not want any of them watching my back.
Trump is from Queens, the faggot capital of the planet...
unfortunately he wasn't raised in Brooklyn... then he'd still be Pres.
I could've easily done a better job as Pres.
Growing up on the mean streets of Brooklyn the first thing I learned
is to punch first, ask for forgiveness later.... the Chinks wouldn't
want to ever meet my Brooklyn.

He makes me horny. It's that British accent, I think. Sometimes when
it's quiet, I think about you Ophelia. I imagine you whispering sweet
things to me in that British accent. I imagine you serving me tea and
crumpets in bed, after a wild night together. Gives me a boner. Or

Yet nobody mentions Marx. Here´s an interesting article from a
not-particularly-fond-of-the-right-wing rag.

This is where we´re headed, folks. There are plenty of other grim citations
available on the evils of Marxism. All one has to do is pull their head out
and look.
Envy is the root of all evil and the basis of Marxism which is the ultimate
goal of "Modern Progressivism". This is where Wikipedia fails. No
"scholar" wants to state the ultimate goal.

Of course we don't want Marxism, but we need balance. There is one
important note in that article:
Marx never intended for his doctrines to spur perpetual dread in
hundreds of millions of victims. But it was criminally naive to expect
happy results from any system that bestowed boundless power on rulers.

Since 1917, various forms of marxism/socialism/communism have snuffed the lives of over 100 million souls (and continues to do so), and failed in every single instance it has been tried. Present - day examples include the failed states of Cuba, DPRK and Venezuela. China is somewhat of an odd "outlier", a combo of some "market" forces allied with a totalitarian regime and an increasingly Orwellian social contract. But China, too, in it's present form is doomed to eventually fail (if nothing else they've a very dire demographic crash on the horizon), it is simply not an attractive place to live...

[Remember that on 19 January 1989 East German leader Erich Honecker said: "The Wall will be standing in 50 and even in 100 years if the reasons for it are not yet removed." Ten months later he was removed from power [dying in Chilean exile], the Berlin Wall fell, the East Bloc states threw off the yoke of hated communism, then in 1991 the USSR dissolved. So the communist Chinese rulers might remember the example of the once "mighty and unassailable" USSR and its minions...]

Lenin I consider the most evil person in history, Hitler and others of his ilk were mere pikers. If I could go back in time and kill someone, Lenin would be it. He opened the whole 20th century Pandora's Box of horrors. Marx was certifiably insane, anyone who somewhat critically even skims his "writings" will come to that conclusion...

Yet we have members of the US Congress, down to members of the local school board and many others in power trumpeting the virtues of "socialism". I simply do not understand how anyone could support the concept of socialism, any more than they could Nazism...

I guess I'll chalk it up to willful historical myopia and ignorance...or simply the wish for evil to prevail.

Some uninformed types call the Nordic states "socialist", nothing could be further from the truth. They are simply thriving free market - friendly nations with nice social benefits - paid for off the profits of those thriving businesses. Sweden had heavy statist intervention policies in the 60's - 80's, those policies were fortunately reversed and Sweden is again on The Right Side of History...

Israel and the UK flirted with "socialism" in the postwar years, those attempts too failed...always remember what The Iron Lady said:

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”

Biden the Marxist, fantastic.

How's it going in the socialist dictatorship of the United States,
Leo? Do they charge VAT on oxygen yet? How's the class struggle going
in Nevada? :)

Not well. We are being inundated by refugees from California, fleeing their
own laws and bringing their beliefs with them. Migration because of, and
from, one's own conscience gives me the creeps.
I see that you mentioned class struggle. Right out of Marx. What a surprise!
Are you advocating as a ruler or as a member of the new worldwide
proletariat?

I can understand wanting to get out but no sensible person would bring
the CA thought process with them. Perhaps they should pass a state
citizenship test.

But how can they be refugees in their own country? I moved from
Tasmania to the mainland. Does that make me a refugee too?

Yes, that's why I brought it up. Class struggle is one of his big
themes.

I'm a proud representative of the Lumpenproletariat!
