If you call what you do living you'd be happier in your grave. You
ignoranus bastard, why aren't you enjoying yourself now... why aren't
you reveling in all that young Indian pussy now? Graves are
cold and dark forever.

It's just too much for him Popeye. Yoose need to rent a room there
and help him hump all those brown wimmens.

What I _don't_ do is watch Youtubes recommended by John Kuthe.

I very rarely watch Youtubes recommended by anybody but my husband.
Of the two PCs I use routinely, one has no speakers and the other
always has the volume turned down all the way. It hardly ever seems
worth turning it up to watch some sort of video.

I have the volume down too. I maybe watch 1 in 10 videos recommended
here.

I'm with you, I never open up YT's posted on this or any other group, and only will watch a few if I can't sleep, as they seem to introduce drowsiness...

I rarely check the ones posted here, but there are a few people with
whom I exchange a lot of emails, links and videos. Yesterday I got a
bundle of emails and there was really good video linked in one from a
friend. The next email was from my sister in law and had the same
video. The date stamps showed they had been sent one minute apart.

I find youtube videos to be very informative . Like the one I watched
the other day about disassembling a Lenovo T420 laptop to replace the
power jack , or might do the mobo . I also like machine shop and welding
videos . Free trade school !

The problem is Kuthe is posting so called hippie "documentaries" as if
he was ever actuall a hippie. He was born a bit too late for that.
Those links aren't informative.

10 years too late, basically. I had a finger on the hippie pulse though, with my other older "kids" in my neighborhood. The street where I failed to grow up was called "kid alley" back in the daze. Lots of post baby boomer and barely boomer 'kids"! I was a post baby boom kid born in 1960. And as a young teen grew my hair long as I got tired of being kidded for getting my hair cut.

I didn't say I was watching the crap Kootchie posts ... I was more
responding to Gary's comment that they put him to sleep . I was never
actually a Hippie , but I knew a few . I was barely old enough to have
joined "the movement" but I was too used to 3 meals a day and clean
sheets .

Gary, I'd bet dollars to donuts that *no* one lives there, otherwise he'd be constantly crowing about it...anyways most all students have returned home, doing their course work remotely. I live near a Big 10 campus, nary a soul to be found...

I do wish everyone would give a basic description

It's like when I post an article, not only do I post the URL, but I also post the text of the article...except for photo links I do not click on links, some have been known to post "fishy" links...

If you're so interested in the video, just watch it. Or do you still
not have decent internet?

Yup...now John's trolling Craigslist to post "amusing" ads here, formerly he'd be breathlessly posting his *own* CL ads (which also have somewhat of an "amusement" quotient)...

Drafted 19 year olds didn't have a choice about going to
Vietnam, other than refuse and go to jail or run to Canada.

Just that simple. Draftees were trained to kill and defend
themselves. If sent to Vietnam, they might not want to
kill the enemy but when they started trying to kill you,
you would learn fast. Fight or die. Kill or be killed.

Sadly, many of the survivors of Vietnam came home to
not a hero's welcome but the protests from the hippies
calling them baby killers, etc.

So unfair of you to talk in hindsight. <spit>
