Yes. They got a lot of airplay on one national radio station here back
circa 1980. They were a good band in their day.

The Japanese must like that 2 Little House On The Prairie women sing
in Japanese.

My experience with Japanese music is limited to this Dutch song:
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qkXwKJ7vRI>

Which was covered by Japanese girl band Puffy (AmiYumi):

One rarely hears Japanese doing ska. Why is that? I don't know.
Here's one of my favorite Japan bands. The singer specializes in an archaic pop style that went out of fashion 60 years ago.

That became radio popular and is actually quite inferior to so many of
the earlier music that they did. Check out their earlier albums, there
are several.

Interesting; I have never heard of the group, but I recall my siblings
watching an animated TV show based on them. I didn't realize that the
cartoon was based on real people.

I think it's weird that there's a explosion in the music that's available and old folks are stuck on listening to music of the past. It's a wasted opportunity. Here a song from a TV show sung in Tibetan and Chinese.

you, is devote my life to posting about John Kuthe.
