Made about 2 cups of filling for this one. All cheese.Still looked skimpy so
I put a good layer of Mozzarella on top. All went well! Remembered the salt
this time. About a teaspoon of the filling leaked out but that was no big
deal. Pretty sure that was a matter lf not getting a tight seal in one spot
and not overfilling. Yum!

Only problem? I ate too much. Those things are filling! I did eat asst.
olives on the side.

We had calzones night before last , but I made them with the same
toppings as we use for pizza . And plenty of sauce inside , we like them
juicy . I guess technically they are pizza pockets - big ones , enough
for 2 meals each .

I found that I actually liked this one better with no sauce at all. I had a
jarred sauce. It was an unfamiliar brand, so maybe the sauce just wasn't
very good.

Two cups? I think you're exaggerating. Where's the picture?

Where do the rest of us post pictures? There have been many
discussions on the topic but you seem to only participate in the
threads YOU start.

If you are discussing a food that doesn't interest me, I don't go into that
thread. I am not a pic person. I don't care where others host pics. I can't
be bothered doing it.

Either one of these are available to anyone and are easy to use:

Hostpic.org
Postimg.org

Did you ever get your mailbox issue resolved?

Hey, Steve, cut her a little slack. I can't recall the last time she
posted a picture of food, if ever. Only Sheldon insists everyone post
pics of their food. ;)

I was going to take a pic of my dinner last night (nothing terribly
exciting) but my digital camera is having some issues. The world didn't
stop because I didn't take a picture.

Nope. A lady of about my age, maybe older, came by. Said the guy who bought
the new box is elderly and has a bad knee. He can't go door to door so asked
her to do it. She asked for $200 and took my name and I think phone number.
She told me she thought we'd get the keys in a couple of days. That was over
a week ago.

She did say that she and two other neighbors witnessed the damage. It was a
small white Ford truck that hit it and knocked parts into someone's yard.

I asked Ross if he heard anything. He said the USPS is dragging their feet.
Looks like all locks are on except for the ones the postman needs.

In the meantime... I have a missing piece of mail. I get scans. There was
that thing that says what the property tax is. I saw the scan a couple of
weeks ago but it wasn't in the mail I picked up at the post office. And I'm
not going back until I have to. No AC there.

I took a pic of soft pretzels once. It's on my FB page. That's the only food
pic I recall ever taking.

They've got you on the ropes and are beating you down. Did you get
HER name and phone number?

Yeah, they got YOUR number! They probably knocked the damned thing
over themselves just so they could con you.

Guy has a bad knee and can't walk but he can install communal
mailboxes...

Now that they have your money, good luck with the keys.
This sounds way too suspicious to me. Nobody knows anything,
not even the post office?

If I was forced to pay for a mailbox key, I would tell anyone
to meet me at the box WITH my keys. Only until I got the
keys and made sure they worked would I pay for them.

You and Kuthe are both single with tenants.
You're both about the same age.
I think you two should get married and live oddly ever after.

You didn't get the keys.

You just gave away 200$ to a complete stranger because she knocked
on your door.

She didn't introduce herself, offer any ID or paperwork , or a
receipt for the payment. Nor did she have the keys.

Do tell, Julie; who DOES have the keys and how are you going to
prove to them that you're entitled to the keys ?

You apparently purposely obfuscating what you hear to make more
drama in your own widdle head.

I can't believe you gave her money after so many of us told you it
was a scam. And even posted proof that the Post Offices maintain
and pay for those things for their own benefit - it help speed up
mail delivery - they save more than enough fuel and time that they
easily pay for themselves.

You're such an idiot!

> I don't have a tenant. I do have as BF though.

It's not a scam. It doesn't really matter what any of you tell me. The only
thing that matters is what the post office says. I asked today and was told
that my local office is not in charge of the locks. Someone in Seattle is.

A BF is a he. He is not conning me out of anything.

Yes, they sub out the locks to a locksmith who just installs cheap
locks and then gives the PO the keys to distribute.

But THEY ARE responsible for the BOX ITSELF!

It amazing how many times you go to the post office but can't be
bothered to ask them the right question and obscure the answers you
do get.

Nooo... They're not responsible for buying the boxes. I know according to
their website, they do own some boxes but it does not give specifics on
that. But every neighbor that has called or gone into the post office to ask
was told that it is up to us to buy the box.
