...does not PREVENT me from practicing as an RN!

So I just need to find a nursing agency that will hire me! Home care pediatrics is my specialty!

Luckily for me, I have a HOUSE that earns me income! :-) And it's PAID OFF! 100%

So that's what you were told yesterday?
"Censored discipline" on your nursing license will
follow you forever. Time to find a different job.

I agree. But I think what is preventing him from getting hired by a
nursing agency is his internet postings that are there for the whole
world to see. They see some of his screaming, ranting, cursing posts,
and think that's not the person we want or need to hire. They can't
be sure he wouldn't snap while caring for a defenseless patient.

Yes, time to move to another career. Plenty of places are hiring that
he could try for. But his posts will follow him similarly as a felony
record follows many people.

Funny how people addicted to the Internet think it is where EVERYONE looks all the time like they do! ROFL! I got my last pediatric nursing job when there was almost just as much crap bearing my name out here on the Internet! ROFL!

Get a LIFE! I have mine. I just come here to see the extent of human idiocy on display for all to see, and NO ONE CARES! ;-)

You still don't get it. I haven't figured out if you're just being obtuse or
you just can't grasp what you write online is there for prospective employers
to read. Yes, you got your last pediatric nursing job before you extolled the
virtues of CDB and having a 'cuppa' daily. Before you shared with the world
you had decided to cut your Seroquel dosage in half. Before you posted you
want to stand on your garage with an Uzi. That went well, didn't it? And
now any nursing agency in the United States can read your ramblings and rants.
They're not rushing to offer you a job, are they?

John, no one is impressed with your attributes but you.

Yes, you have a life, a life without a job and most likely you'll never work
in the nursing field again. For once I agree with you. NO ONE CARES! But
that won't stop you from going off and yet another tangent like it's our
fault you don't have the sense to know when to stop.

I'm pretty sure he mean "censured".

A disciplinary action by the licensing board that is "censure" rather than
a more severe action.

It means that the infraction was a minor one. The knuckleheads here believe that he nearly committed murder in the 1st degree. Mostly, they need to get a life they can call their own. 😈

It's not what we think, it's what the nursing agencies see online when they

Maybe he can get a job doing something else he actually enjoys.
Maybe something in a climate related field, or ecology, etc. Even
if it pays less, it might be better for his psyche, and he does
have a small rental income to help make up the difference.

Cannabis nursing isn't the only job that needs to be done.

A discipline on my RN license for a minor infraction. No one was hurt, I just violated a nursing rule, and it will remain forever documented on my "permanent record", and I MAY still practice as an RN too, unlike a 'suspension' or any more strict discipline. And itl;s "sensored" I believe, officially but not in 'spell check'!

That's it! Being censored is the least of the possible disciplines against my RN license, and I may still practice as an RN.

Thank you Cindy.

Yes, for a moment I thought "censored" replaced a swear word. As in

I got opinions of my own for sure. What I don't have is suggestions on how you should run your life. I also don't have the time, audacity, and tenacity, to be repeating myself endlessly throughout the years. For that, you need a pettiness that comes with a of heart of the blackest black and a soul that's empty and lifeless as any in this world.

The poor dumb bastard doesn't seem to realize that just about everyone
used the internet these days and the employers have started to check out
prospective employees online and looking at their social media
activities. When my son was applying for his current job he had to give
them his FB password. John had laid his rather bizarre life out in
plain sight here. He has obsessed about his hot young Indian girls,
referred to himself as a cannabis nurse, talked about his self
medication and described himself as being autosexual. I can't imagine
any organization being such an undesirable employer that they could not
attract more desirable candidates that John. His posts here scream that
he is mentally unbalanced.

He seems to think this group is private and no one in the world can read
his posts but us. Any nursing agency will key his name into the search
engine of their choice and he immediately pops up. He can't seem to
restrain himself.
