Chinese newspaper The Beijing News said at least 27 people underwent the
anal swab tests at an apartment building in Beijing where a 26-year-old
woman had caught Omicron — the city's first recorded case of the variant.

The invasive anal tests involve inserting a sterile cotton swab into the
rectum and rotating it several times.

The swab is removed and analysed in a lab.

DEAR DEIDRE: I AM obsessed with getting home from the pub just so I can get dressed up as a woman.

I am a straight guy of 36. I have been single for four years and I spend all weekend dressed in women’s clothes.

I have a wardrobe full of dresses, wigs, bras, knickers, jewellery – the lot.

I can be having a good time at my local but in the back of my mind I am always thinking about the moment I get home and can become a woman.

It's them nasties that are so titillating. Have you ever had anal sex
with your girlfriend or wife? It's very rare you'll pull out 100% clean,
but you have to admit it's exhilarating. (My boyfriend and I indulge on
special occasions). I'm sure the same goes for the cotton swab, but on a
much lesser scale, of course.
