Sorry you didn't like gazpacho. I like it a lot, although I don't make
it much anymore.
When I was living in Pasadena, CA, I used to eat at very good restaurant
called "The Peppermill". It was moderately upscale. They had a great
salad bar which included really good deviled eggs, and they often
featured gazpacho. It was unusual in that it was apparently made with
club soda, which gave the soup a certain pizazz that I really liked.
The Peppermill was torn down in the 80s or 90s or so, to make room for
condos. I miss it a lot.
