That would have worked in order to save the original LPs in
almost mint condition for high resale many years later. I've got
almost 600 lps. Some from the 60's, most from the 70's, and a few
from the early 80's. Even some that might be valuable now are
not. The buyers now seem to only want the mint condition ones.
Mine are in great shape but well used.
Whatever value they might have had by now was destroyed by
Mr.Kitty who, for 19 years, claimed my LP collection as his
scratching post. Only the thin edges were shredded but enough to
kill any value.
