This newest Occupancy Permit inspection was rapacious! I didn't know they could cite "dusting" as a necessary thing to pass an Occupancy Permit inspection! :-(

Hell no! You need to paint it with dayglo purple and pink, like the

Yoose should have at least washed it all off first to get rid of
dust and grime rather than painting over it. That washing would
have chased off the spider or two, also. Worthless deaths.

All outside painting should be washed off first. Just wiping
down with a damp rag (frequently rinsed) will do it.

Classic bully behavior is to blame the person they're harassing so that mostly proves my point. Bullies will seek out people they see as not being able to defend themselves. It angers them. Why is that? Perhaps they see themselves as weak and defenseless. Perhaps they are cowards.

Harassing people is never good behavior and is an indicator of a weakness of character. Now that's what I call good advice. Of course, you're free to avoid good advice. Yoose gets the last word.

A slightly more subtle form of bullying is stepping in to speak up for
others because they assume that the people are too stupid to defend
themselves. They have to be a little dim not to realize that some of
the people they think are being bullied thrive on the attention.

Some people certainly do thrive on the negative attention. I don't see

puts all his personal info out there minute by minute (who gives a rip

own business. Wouldn't be our business if he didn't post every single

I'm not impressed with mussels. Bought a 2lb mesh bag

Mussels are much less expensive than clams as they are very easy to
collect (picked off rocks/piers at low tide) whereas clams require
strenuous labor (digging/raking). They both need scrubbing but
mussels also need debearding. I like both; mussels marinara and clams
on the half shell. I think it's sinful to cook littlenecks or
cherrystones.

I ain't defending nobody's actions and statements. I do have problems with somebody that's obsessively harassing a person on a daily basis and repeating the same old shit endlessly and getting into other people's business.

What I feel is that you are a moron and in need of help. You're not going to get help from me because that's not my business. I don't like saying the same old shit more than once so yoose gets the last word.

It's a serious character flaw - my guess is that bullies had a childhood starved of something that kids need. My kids never felt the need to bully other kids - that makes me very happy.

As it goes, the US has a serious bullying problem in the White House.

"But his most vicious attacks, said the sources, were aimed at women heads of state. In conversations with both May and Merkel, the President demeaned and denigrated them in diatribes described as "near-sadistic" by one of the sources and confirmed by others. "Some of the things he said to Angela Merkel are just unbelievable: he called her 'stupid,' and accused her of being in the pocket of the Russians ... He's toughest [in the phone calls] with those he looks at as weaklings and weakest with the ones he ought to be tough with."

dsi1, ignoring most of your silly diatribe, you do NOT 'speak for the
US'. When you try, youn invariably get it wrong which is why you get
called on it often by multiple people.

What you do well is speak for Hawaii and it's unique culture. You have
no significant mainland experience and generally get it wrong.

People that righteously proclaim that I don't speak for the entire US are kind of clueless knuckleheads. As far as being called out on a ridiculous assumption of preposterous proportions, by multiple arrogant bullies - I can't say that it concerns me at all.

Here's what my son made for dinner. It's some kind of low carb, baked salmon deal. It's great if you like lo-carb. There was also package of Parmesan crusted tilapia in the freezer. My son must have gotten that. I'll probably cook it in the air fryer just to see how it turns out. My guess is that it's not that good but I'n no fan of salmon.

It looked wonderful. Much more appetizing than any plate lunch picture
you've ever posted, which always make me wonder where the vegetables
are.

I like carbs. They're delicious. Not every meal needs to have carbs,
and not all carbs need to be refined white ones.

It's not surprising that you find my son's cooking more palpable - it's more Western style than local style.

It's not that it's Western. It's that it's not starch on starch with
starch covered by gravy.

You've posted a lot of pictures of various things that had vegetables
in them, and I've replied how good they look. But Moko Loco just
isn't appetizing.

It's not surprising that you don't find a loco moco to be appetizing. If you were a hungry surfer with not a lot of money and had spent a day surfing, you'd immediately understand the concept behind it. In that setting, it is a perfect food.

There seem to be.

I love vegetables. It doesn't seem like a meal without them. I went
gaga last fall when I found a great--and simple--recipe for roasted
savoy cabbage.

Sadly, my husband is like you, so if I make, say, an entire roasted
cabbage, I end up eating all of it myself. It gets a little monotonous.

My favorite dish at a local restaurant is their roasted mixed vegetables.
It's a side dish that isn't always available, but whenever it's the
side dish du jour, I order it.

Westerners love salads but it's not like they're healthier than the rest of the world. OTOH, I wouldn't worry about it. In the future, we'll all be eating plant based. We'll also be driving all-electric cars. Just as God intended.

I don't want plant-based meat. I want plants.

The Asian cuisines are endlessly inventive with vegetables. When we
eat Chinese restaurants I choose my main dish based on the quality
and variety of vegetables it contains.

Don't worry about me. I get plenty of vegetables! For one thing, on this rock, rice is considered to be a vegetable - as is whatever the hell is on top of this thing. It's green and leafy and I nibbled the tip right off of that sucker!
