I KNOW my password! And it won't let me in! :-(

So I have to drive down to Busey Bank and get my password reset!

No, you just have to click on the "Forgot Password" and reset it. Woks
like that on every web site including theirs.

easy for you to say. . .security is really tight these days. I tried
for days to reset my email on QVC (where I buy my cell phones).
Finally, after reading all the small print I find that I must call and
get it changed that way. Some places now have voice print that
recognizes your voice before you are allowed to make changes.

My synpathies. I think I am going to have to cancel my accounts with
some companies and start over. I know that works.

No. You DON'T know your password. 100%, you recently forgot and had
the password reset... now you're back to not know what that password
is again.

Using fossil fuels when you can walk? Don't try to tell me your
schedule is too busy to allow it. The nearest branch is only 4 miles
away from you...

WALK! Don't just virtue signal hear how you used your stupid Leaf...
walk the walk and not just talk about saving the environment, John.

He is like a guy I heard hassling another member in the locker room at
the Y. He was upset when he overheard the guy talking about how he had
flown out to the west coast for his nephew's wedding and saying how it
is not sustainable to fly that distance for a wedding. The other guy
said they had spent a couple weeks out there and made a vacation of it.
Still... not sustainable to fly blah blah blah. This is a guy who
showers for close to 15 minutes, uses 4 or 5 towels and then sprays half
a can of deodorant... all free at the Y. He also drives less than two
miles to the Y when he could easily walk or ride his bicycle.

He is like most other eco warriors who are hell bent on everyone else
changing their ways so they don't have to.

:)

I guess we can thank the Internet for people thinking along these
lines these days.

Naturally. These vocal virtue signalling types are always hypocrites.

Yep.

I don't have an account with Busey Bank but I clicked the link Ed
posted. Sure enough, right below Username there is a "forgot password"
link. They may require John to answer some personal security questions
which he would have set up himself (my bank does that) or email him some
sort of code to reset his password (another of my banks does that) but
the forgot password link is right there. As usual, he makes the
simplest of things entirely too difficult.

You know this of course, but completely changing your email address is
not the same as changing your password. They have your old email
address in their database. They don't have any idea if the person with
the new email address is actually you.

If nothing else his computer might have the feature "Save my Password."
I wonder when he screws up these passwords does he ever click the little
eye symbol where he types it in that shows if he's entering the correct p/w?

How could someone manage to use 4-5 towels? Do they weigh 600 pounds?
I use one towel when I get out of the tub, and it's hardly damp; just
hang-dry it.
