Does anyone keep in touch with her?

I hope all is well and she’s just taking a break.

Thank you so much for asking, Nellie! I'm fine, trying to
get all the spring chores done, don't remember it being this
hard but it's almost all done.

We did manage to get something done today that I say I will
every spring but never do, went strawberry picking. That was
fun. Think we'll make it a regular thing.

Thanks again for the shout out, really made my day.

Hi Nancy,
I'm glad to hear that you are well and enjoying the warming weather.
I used to go strawberry picking but the sunburn on the back of my neck
ruined it. I enjoy sliced strawberries maserated with a sprinkle of
dark brown sugar. Large packs of berries are on sale here now, B2G3.
When my daughter was like 5-6 I'd take her strawberry picking, she
liked pumpkin picking too, so long as I carried them. That was near
50 years ago, a lifetime ago. Not much cooking going on here any more
but I'm glad to see you checking in.

That's why you need long hair.

Ha, this place does have a store, we could have saved time and
money and just bought them there.

Cute. There were a lot of families out there picking. Great kid
activity.

I’m so glad to hear this, Nancy. I don’t check
In that often, but often enough that I noticed
your absence.

Wow, I’m impressed, strawberry picking
Is tough. We went to a cherry orchard not
too far from here and picked 25 lbs of
cherries. It was the opening day of cherry
season so the trees were laden with fruit
even at the lower branches so my 21/2
year old granddaughter had a blast picking

Nancy, check in occasionally please 😊 I always
enjoy your posts.
