Both look very tasty and those fries are perfect.

It's leftovers here and some Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies for dessert
with a glass of milk.

Spicy chicken? That sounds pretty good. I had some garlic chicken for breakfast this morning. I had that with Sriracha and it was pretty good too.

The fries *did* turn out perfect, but the process of parboiling and
frying is hit or miss, especially since I used russets. If they'd been
overly boiled they'd have fallen apart, and I wouldn't have posted
about the dinner.

I agree. The fries are underdone and therefore a bit limp.
