There's a huge grocery store just a few blocks away from Harrods.
It's upscale looking from the outside, but I didn't get a chance to go
inside to check it out. If they don't carry it, they can probably
point you in the right direction. I'm not sure you can find sorrel in
the Winter though. Good Luck! Check for sorrel at any upscale
grocery store and ask when it's available.

I never worry about diets. The only carrots that
interest me are the number of carats in a diamond.

Manischewitz sells it in a jar, it's called Shav.

It should be available at some stalls at Borough Market. You can also
get it online at <http://www.efoodies.co.uk/invt/sorrelfresh>.
Try also asking at <uk.food+drink.misc>.

Why bother... sorrel is easy to grow, it literally grows like the
proverbial weed.

<shocked expression> I had no idea you could find sorrel in any other
form than fresh leaves. I'll stick with fresh, thanks.
Sorrel Soup
(clipped from a local newspaper a decades ago)
Shred 1/4 pound well washed sorrel leaves that have the stems and
center ribs removed. Cook in 1 tablespoon of sweet butter (on med-low
heat) until soft. Add 2 cups chicken broth and simmer for 15 minutes
At serving time, beat 3 egg yolks with 1/2 cup of cream and add to the
hot soup, being careful not to let it boil. Season with salt and
freshly ground white pepper to taste - serve immediately.
This soup is delicious!
>sorrel is easy to grow, it literally grows like the proverbial weed.
It *is* a weed. People decided it tasted good, so they cultivated it.
Anything growing where it's not wanted is a weed.
Sorrel contains oxalic acid so should be eaten tentatively and not be
consumed in large quantities.
