Perhaps not attributed directly but many have died from driving or
falling off ladders while high on pot. Many have died from cigarette
smoke too... weed smoke is just as cancerous, probably more so... just
takes time. Had I not given up Winstons cold turkey 35 years ago I'd
probably not be here now. Wasn't easy to quit, I suffered during the
first week without but then it got easier. The hardest thing to do
with out smoking was sitting on the toilet. At that time is when I
discovered that a double vodka at bedtime was an excellent substitute,
also helped me cut way down on Advil and Acetaminophen that I used for
Arthritis pain in my spine, when one's back aches everything aches.
I never drink and drive, which is why I have my vodka after I'm in bed
for the night. We both get into bed early, typically by 8 PM. That's
knitting and loving time... we're usually sound asleep before 10 PM.
We're awake and out of bed by 4 AM, cats wake us for their breakfast.

A former neighbour had a problem with drugs and alcohol. He worked for
another neighbour who had a contracting business, mostly windows. He was
more of a charity case than a reliable employee but the business owner
had to fire him because he was too much of a liability. Fortunately, he
was usually so high he didn't feel pain the times he fell of roofs.
