My SIL made chocolate cookies last night. They were delicious, but she
didn’t care for them much. I souped them up with something she does like.
Redemption!

They look good with and without the cream cheese but why didn't she
like them??

I don’t know. Maybe she is just trying different cookies. She has made
oatmeal, oatmeal with raisin and chocolate cookies so far. I think they are
all excellent. The hard part for me is humping the damned Kitchenaid out of
a cupboard thats shelf floor is above my eyes and putting it back in. I’m
old.
Only the top cupboards are high enough to fit the mixer which has had more
of a workout in the last six months than in the last thirty years. I’m
not complaining, although I sound like I am. I’ll horse a mixer around
for good cookies.

YUM! The additional grease of cream cheese should work well with the chocolate.

I've got a Kitchenaid tilt-head stand mixer and they are heavy. Mine
resides covered on top of my refrigerator and I have to get a stepstool
out in order to reach it and put it away.

Has she tried the cowboy cookies yet? A quarter cup measure is used to
dish them out onto a cookie pan.

I found that if I had to drag my mixer or my FP out from storage - I
didn't. So I arranged to keep them both out on the counter. Now they get
used many times a week.

My kitchen is so small and counter space is a premium here. If it were to
sit on the counter all the time it would be gathering dust and in the way.
I'm not a baker, never have been, never will be, no interest.
