Who cares what decade it comes from, it's redundant, boring, uninteresting
and musically non compelling all the way through. It is garbage. If I had a
lot of money I could pay a top notch hypnotist to convince me that I like
garbage so I could then join the current generation in their festive listening
groove, not that garbage is confined to the current generation alone. Garbage
filters through the years from the dawn of time. I am part of that garbage. So
are you. Oh what a wonderful sewer life is for all of us.

Ya know, Miss Bruce likes to fly up here to the States and give blow jobs... you should give her a call...

Miss Bwuthie's father taught her how, and from a very young age...

The first time Bruce went down on her father, she puked and retched, but Daddy forced her head down on his gigantor dick real, real hard, and thus Miss Bwuthie learned to "tame" her gag reflex - in addition to mastering "breath control"...

Now Miss Bwuthie has been named " World's Best Cocksucker " by "Gay Times" magazine...

She's also been signed to film "Deep Throat II" - for this she may win an Oscar......

Run him off? He would never leave, not on account of me. In fact
any response to him (or anyone including even me) will usually have
the complete opposite effect, developing a wonderful sense of
anticipation each day guided by, "I wonder what they have to say
about me today?", as they scour the newsgroup board for comments
pertaining to them - and believe me they don't care if the words are
positive or negative. In fact there is no negative when people are
talking about you. It's right up there with "There is no such thing
as bad publicity", except in this case there is no such thing as a
bad post. Oh it might be badly written, but as long as it's about
the person reading it it will be read in full, and it's it's good it can't
be long enough, sometimes even breaking into tears as the post
comes to an end and they stop talking about you and you are
overtaken by loneliness and despair, going back and re-reading
the responses over and over the way some people read and recite
passages from the bible, until thank God suddenly a fresh response
appears and you feel so alive, so grateful to know that once again
someone is talking about you, and it doesn't matter what they say,
it can't be bad enough to ever get you to stop reading ABOUT YOURSELF.

I understand your concern. But believe me, nothing I say will run
Bruce off. I will make sure of that. I want to up the dialogue a bit,
take hostilities to a higher level even if they are fabricated. I am
not doing this to initiate verbal conflict on my own, I am doing it
to force Bruce (if I can) to respond accordingly with equal hostility.
The hostility I have always asked for but never received. He has
tried to blast me verbally but it's never good enough. He does not
go far enough - with the truth. So if my words to Bruce seem harsh
rest assured they will only get harsher in time with me striving to
set him off in the hopes of getting an equally energetic AND honest
amount of verbal disrespect. I want it and he won't give. He is
being selfish. Can't you see that?

All of you, can't you see it?

It's not the music, it's your old-guy brain that's the culprit. It's can't handle modern music. That's unfortunate because there's an explosion in music going on. The non-acceptance of new music is an indicator of a change-of-state in the brains of humans. My guess is it's something to do with the brain not able to adapt to new or novel situations/conditions/problems. In the future, we'll take a pill to stop the brain from getting locked-in to its "settings."

There is nothing modern about that music. It's R&B, been around for
years. There's plenty of music from the past I don't care for either.
I'm telling you now when it comes to me that era and generation has
nothing to do with it. Sure, to some extent we are all influenced by our
own generation. But I have never been a follower, particularly of any
generation, although my musical tastes trend toward some of the good
stuff from the 30s. But I like music from many eras. I also dislike
music from many eras. And the ears have nothing to do with it. Maybe
it has something to do with it for some people like yourself, but for me
it's about the music only, not what it represents in terms of era or region
or any other small minded genre bullshit. Your putdowns have merit.
But not when they are directed at me. Not in this case. They do not apply.

And you know it.

Unca, in da future will the ukulele still be a "thing"...???

Will you be the 31st century version of Arthur Godfrey...???

https://ukulelemagazine.com/stories/ukulele-evangelist-arthur-godfrey

"Godfrey did more to popularize the ukulele in the United States than even the Hawaiian Pavilion at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Introduced to the ukulele by a Hawaiian shipmate during his stint in the Navy, Godfrey loved the uke, played it incessantly, and promoted it and its players. He even talked CBS into sponsoring a 15-minute TV show that taught people how to play it. The show was short-lived, but it put the ukulele in the spotlight and helped catapult Godfrey into the ukulele history books..."

It's not a put down if it's true. Are you saying that you've never noticed that old folks hate the music of the younger generation? You think you're special but you ain't. That's not a put down. Everybody thinks they're special but only a few are.

I am special. Extra special. I know a lot about music. Enough
anyway. I'm not going to debate it. Not with you or anyone. I had
an uncle who did not like being asked his age. I remember one time
asking him innocently enough how old he was and his head swung
around and he yelled, "Why?" I said I'm just curious, that's all. To
that he said again, "Yeah but why?" Again, I'm just curious. "Yeah,
but why are you curious?" It went on a while before I let it go. I thought
it was funny. But I look back on that exchange many years later and
can understand why a person might want to keep their age to themselves.
Because of people like you. One way or the other at some point their
age will be used against them in some way.

If the guy is in an argument/discussion/debate with someone
and they don't like what he's saying, if he's young they can
always say, "Well of course you're going to feel that way because
you're young and you don't know jack shit." ONTH if the guy is old
they can always say, "Well of course you're going to feel that way
because you're old and incapable of accepting anything new or
different." Funny stuff.

By the way, I see truth in it, you're probably right, you can tell
what most people like or don't like by their age. But not all of them.
If you line up 100 people at random, people my age exactly, and ask
them what they think of certain singers or songs I like from
their era you would be lucky to find more than 1 who even knows
who they are. Every era has music and other forms of entertainment
that endure over time, stuff that was well known to many when it
came out, but not to all as it was not representative of mainstream
stuff from that time. Some of the stuff I like now was highly popular
at that time but most was obscure even then. You are the negative
one here, assuming that every era produces only one type of music,
or comedy, or anything. You cannot and should not assume that everyone
is the same based on age or generation or anything else. An assumption
I myself am guilty of making quite often. But not as often as you and others
who live on small islands in their own small minds.

Don't pigeon hole me punk!

I love the humor of rationalization. I suppose in that way you can say
it's my game, but really my number one game is truth. I don't build a
wall of words to bullshit people, I just sometimes don't know when to
quit yapping. I will not get into a debate with you or anyone else. But
I will be honest with you and tell you something you probably already
know - that I love to talk and will take any opportunity to make it happen,
For me it's all about entertainment. Debates do not entertain me in
any way.

I won't argue that. But lots of people world wide play the same
card every chance they get. It doesn't always have to be racial
or ethnic or gender based, it can be anything - any opportunity
to stand out as something special. People tend to play this
card when they are away from home. New Yorkers do it a lot.
They move to L.A. for example and all they talk about is how
great New York is. And for them it probably is great - as long
as they're not there. Lots of people pull the old 'stranger in
a strange land' card too. Some do it with sports teams. Like
a New Yorker in L.A. will be a very vocal New York Yankee
supporter. But when he's in New York he doesn't follow sports
at all, it's just an opportunity for him to grab center stage.

You're right though, Hawaii Dave is very special, on an island
all his own.

Hilarious. "He is here to...............", could be followed by anything.
The idea of an emissary with the power to come billions of miles
to another planet doing it for anyone or anything other than himself
and his native planet is nuts. "Why is he here? What does he want?"
Funny stuff. Experts are convened. They will tell us why he is here.
And they shall reveal unto us his purpose.

I'd rather speak out and remove all doubt. Why keep people in the
dark about it? If I'm a fool I'd rather them know it from the start,
not find out about it later after wasting time thinking I was something
special. Twain was a decent writer but his homilies were and are
overblown. This is a newsgroup, a place where a guy like me can be
