I bought some at Costco and there is no way the two of us can eat it all
before it goes bad. Daughter has been sick all week so was not eating as
usual.

Thanks!

I can't think of a reason why you shouldn't/can't. I wouldn't, but I
wouldn't buy them premade either.

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

Frozen falafel is awful.

Is it cooked or raw? If raw it should freeze OK. Cooked? It will
freeze but, yuck.

Not sure why you'd say that. I sometimes have bought the frozen,
imported from Egypt falafel. It's fine. This is falafel
that has not yet been cooked, and to prepare it you thaw it
out and fry it.

I don't know about the Costco product.

Costco falafel has been cooked (fried). I buy it every once in awhile. I
have never frozen it but I suppose if I did, well, I'd bake it in the
oven from frozen. Like fish sticks, sort of. I don't know if it would be
good or not but I don't think I want to try it.

Nah. No bigs recycling it. It's cheap.

This is cooked and a fairly new product. They had some before that had eggs
in it so I didn't buy it. Or maybe it was wheat. An allergen anyway.
These do not have the allergens. I like to keep them because they are great
for a quick meal or snack.

We don't heat our falafel. We just eat it cold.

Why in the world would you say that? I don't eat nasty food.

Same here. I'd try it out of curiousity. If it didn't have wheat in
it, I'd use it up as dog treats (grin).

i just don't seem to be able to help myself, if there is a question i just
have to find out, once i did this with cabbage, raw, just blanched with one
dip and fully cooked, most interesting the differences. Lee

There's no wheat but I think there are onions so not good for dogs.

TJ's sells frozen falafel - tastes fine to me after being nuked, fine
for frozen falafel, anyway, good enough that I'll eat it once in a
while.
