What would be nice to serve with fried wontons as an entree? Also, what
would go well with grilled chicken wings? they look lonely on the plate
by themselves.

Want an easy recipe for sweet and sour sauce to accompany the wontons?
A true gourmet would gag, but it is great.

a 4 oz. jar apricot baby food
1 T. soy sauce
1 T. vinegar
1 T. sugar

Combine all ingredients. Heat if desired.

[Actually, baby foods are handy for all kinds of fruity sauces. Try the
plum for a sauce to go with pork. Cheap, and just the right size for a
small family.]

Contadina brand tomato sauce is what I use with wontons.

Put a small bowl with sweet and sour sauce or any other chinese dipping sauce
in the middle of the plate where you serve the wontons (chicken wings) on.

What da ya mean put sweet and sour sauce for wonton :|||. Especially with
these Americans' frying wonton :(((. I never had any wonton fried and never
tasted the horrible SSS (Sweet and Sour Sauce) until I came to the US. What
a horrible thing it tastes and people had the misconception that this IS
standard Chinese food like Cho-Suey. HA.... Now horse raddish/oriental mustard,
soy sauce, white vinegar, diced green onion, diced leek (here is another
lengend), and seasame oil might do for where I came from.
