"Sea Hag" beer - good for cooking?

Not being a beer drinker, I wondered if the can I happen to have would
go well in recipes that include beer.

IIRC, it's an Indian pale ale.

It certainly will not work for ALL recipes calling for beer.
Its a toasty malt hoppy IPA.
