Superb! I have the top of the line model and it does make good bread.
Gluten-free, whole wheat; whatever.
I make marmalade and cakes with it as well.

I've had great experiences with their S15 model, but there is a
cheaper model that's not nearly as good--fewer available settings,
etc. mtm

I got my S-15 for $250 from Delta Rehab this summer and love it.
I've made numerous kinds of yeast and quick breads in it, and the
home made menu has allowed me to save a couple of loaves that would
otherwise have been disasters. I also use the dough feature alot.
Haven't tried making jam in it.

I've had a Zoji for a couple of months now and I love it. I bought it on the
advice of my sister-in-law. She started with a Black & Decker, returned it for
a Hitachi and returned that for a Zoji. The Black & Decker was actually a gift
from me. I guess I make a loaf every other day or so. I've made several
variations of ryes, raisins, whites, pizza dough and bagels.

I don't think you can go wrong with a Zoji. There's nothing like waking up to
fresh baked bread.
