Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
3/4 t. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt

Combine butter, sugars, and peanut butter until creamy. Add egg and vanilla
and mix until well blended. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt then
add to rest. Blend until smooth. Use a teaspoon to scoop out batter. Form
into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Dip a glass
in sugar and press balls down or press down with fork tines (sp?). Bake at
375 degrees until golden, about 8 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen.

Note: Don't overcook cookies or they will become hard and brittle rather
quickly.

Have you ever tried;

1 cup sugar
1 cup P-Nut butter, I like crunchy
1 tsp vanilla x-trac
1 tsp baking soda
1 egg

NO flour

Oven at 375 degress. They cook real fast. Try 4 minutes ina hot oven or 5
minutes in slow oven. They will continue to brown when taken out.
