We were just gifted an almost-new air fryer. It's a Cuisinart Digital
model. The previous owners couldn't figure out the controls.
After studying the manual, I figured out how to set the clock, but it
says to unplug when not in use. So I guess I'll set the clock each time
I plug it in.
Although sworn-by from some of you, an air fryer has never been in my
purview. I'll study the manual carefully. More fun to follow...maybe.
They don't want it back.
Postimage still isn't working, or I'd post the puzzlement.

Give us a model number and we can look it up and gaze with wonderment.

What you have is a very nice toaster oven. Treat it gently and
with respect (I recommend the ROAST setting, almost always)...
and say a prayer for the previous owner in the hopes they may get
smarter.

Cuisinart Digital AirFryer Toaster Oven CTOA-130PC3

Since postimage is back up,

I have no idea what to do with it. It was the last thing on my mind when
I woke up this morning.

Step #1: Read the instructions, thoroughly.
Step #2: See how they apply to me.
Step #3: Make YouTube my friend.

My guess is that the first thing you should do is remove all paper and plastic objects from the top. That sure is a clean machine. My recommendation is that you avoid pushing that round wheel thing. This will help keep your unit shiny and clean.

It's got a decent looking fry basket and the tray below it to catch drips from
hamburgers, chicken, and pork chop to name a few. The fry basket would
probably do quite well for French fries, too.

I have one! I started with a good brand of frozen french fries. Air fry instructions were on the bag. The bag said, "Cook for 12 minutes". They were done in 7. Skinless boneless chicken thighs go nicely. Short Corning ware bowls work well. It cooks from top and bottom Basically it is a small convection oven.
My smallest cast iron frying pan fits. The "floor" of the unit, called a crumb plate, slides out for easy cleaning. Roasted vegetables do well. Broccoli, carrots or asparagus. For recipes - time and temperature - Google is your friend.

That's helpful advice! In his initial post he said he figured out how
to set the clock, and the manual says to unplug it after each use. Does
he really have to reset the clock every time he plugs it back in? (I'm
thinking not.) :)

Wow. When I posted "google us a link" there was only one post.
Another Twilight zone moment.

I still know how to set the clock. I don't unplug it. My wife uses it to
toast English muffins and other stuff, but one of these days... :)
