Bulk water delivery

I get bulk water delivered to my home from Sparkletts. Tenk refill almost
two weeks late. No answer at either 800 number. No answer to two USPS
letters or an email.

Do you get bulk water? Still coming? I'm afraid COVID put my water supplier
out of business. No problems mentioned though on Google or at their web
site.

Have you tried calling their parent company, DS Waters at
800-201-6218.

Looks like they've switched to contactless water delivery. You put
your empties out onto the porch and they swap them out. Have you
looked on your porch lately? Otherwise, there's this:

Thank you. That one worked. Answered as Sparkletts. They say my next
delivery is scheduled for 8/13 and that I get deliveries every month.
Can't understand that. Usually get it delivered in the last week of the
month every two months - last delivery month was May. I guess I'll have
to wait and see. Hope I don't run out.At least I hope a sort of working
number now. Wonder if I can get past the "Press 1 for" lists next try?

Why are you messing with water deliveries, having to dispose of
polluting plastic bottles, and get outrageous bills for water that
you've no idea if it's really clean, very likely from someone's rubber
garden hose. I get all the pure water I want from a tap at my kitchen
sink, cleaner than any delivered water... I installed a reverse
osmosis filter, makes pure water for about 5¢ a gallon. I fill my own
plastic bottles that are made to be refilled.

Are we talking big water bottles or tanker loads. I use my cistern in
the summer when my well runs dry. The last load was 2000 gal. I already
had about 1,000 in there when the load came. I just checked it and I
would estimate there is still at least 1500 gallons. We had a good
rainstorm two days ago and we are expecting more rain this week. Given
the amount of water in my neighbour's pond, I could probably switch back
to the well for a while.

Rain water is filthy, much worse from a cistern... you'd be better off
drinking from your neighbor's pond. In agri areas well water is
loaded with chemferts and bacteria from livestock.
All the water in our house has been treated with UV plus all our
drinking water comes through our RO filter. The water we drink is far
cleaner than any you can buy.
Municipal water companies only test the water leaving their plant, and
then it may travel through many miles of filthy antiquated piping...
the piping in most peoples homes is disgustingly filthy. And the water
from their hot water heater is excruciatingly filthy because hardly
anyone shocks their hot water heater regularly with chlorine bleach...
the morons set their dishwashers to sanitize, that sanitizes
nothing... that water is not nearly hot enough to kill all the
nasties... they'd be far, FAR better off to hand wash... insulated
rubber gloves are cheap. No residential dishwasher sanitizes... only
top of the line commercial dishwashers are capable of sanitizing
because they blast everything with 230degF live steam.

Our rain water is just beautiful. We only boil it because frogs live
in it.

I know people I worked with who bow live in a desert... Las Vegas, New
Mexico... people there have wells. And occasionaly it rains a quick
deluge, they catch that water on their roof and pipe it into a cistern
for gardening water. In modern times lots of people live in deserts
and have water by several methods, notably wells.

When we were house shopping one time, we found a house in southeast
Michigan that had its water delivered to a ginormous tank in the
garage. I can't recall why they didn't have a well; we passed
on that house.

I get it from a tankard truck. I assume it has to meet some purity
standards. I've been drinking it with mo health problems for decades.

I have a well. I just don't use it to drink from. Never had the water
tested. I use it for everything but drinking and cooking. I have another
mobile home next door I rent out. It shares the well. Tenants have been

Press 0 [zero] Repeat as necessary. If the automated menu system is
also voice activated say "Operator" or "Agent". One or the other of
those usually gets me out of an endless telephone menu loop.

He has an odd delivery schedule. I order it as I need it. I have a well
and a cistern. The well is only 20ft deep and it often goes dry in the
summer. I usually start the season with a full cistern. Sometimes
there is enough rain to keep me going. I don't think I have ever had to
order more than two loads in a year. I would not have had to order any
this year had I not needed to drain it down to about 2 feet in order to
change the foot valve.

I can't speak to Sparkletts water delivery. Just putting out there for
general information how to get out of those endless telephone menu
loops. It doesn't matter what business you're calling. Pressing 0 a few
times usually works, as does saying "operator", "agent" or
"representative". IMHO, it gets you talking to an actual person more
quickly.

I do hope Ken gets his water delivery sorted out.
