We recently bought a frying pan made by Look in Iceland. We've only
been using it for about six months, but find it's by far the best
non-stick product we've ever used.

However, we know people who've had problems with other brands rapidly
losing their non-stick coating, chipping, acquiring smells, etc.

So ... we'd like to know if anybody else has been using Look and how
they find it. Also, if anybody knows what US prices are -- we live
in New Zealand (where it's quite expensive) and would be interested in
getting some when we visit the US if it's significantly cheaper.

Thanks,

Kurt and Dianne Sanders

Only thing I saw was one 10.5" pan at Amazon. Don't see any US sales
of the brand.

If yer gonna buy non-stick, you can go cheap. What? It starts
wearing out after a a yr? Buy a new one. $8-10 at WW.

My next, and probably last, pan is gonna be a 2 qt SS-alum-SS saucier

Bought ours from Lawson's in Plymouth UK, doesn't last long that's why they stopped stocking them, changed under warranty all three pieces through Lawson's but now gone again and can't replace them as having difficulty finding stockist. 10 year warranty not worth the papper it's written on..

We bought 3 different pieces of look cookware about 12 years ago and we are now just about to renew them as they have been excellent pieces of kit and came with a ten year warranty, look cookware seems to be no more which is a pity

Fourteen hundred years ago Islam gave women rights; rights that could
not have been imagined by European counterparts. Bold words! Words
that have been spoken repeatedly, especially in the last two or three
decades by Muslim converts, and Islamic writers, academics and educators
across the globe. Women’s rights, responsibilities, and choices have
been the subject of books, articles, essays, and lectures. Sadly
however, convincing the world that Muslim women are not oppressed by
Islam is a message that is just not getting through. Media headlines
scream oppression and the words Muslim, women, and oppression seem to
have become inextricably linked.

No matter what Muslim women do or say to try to convince the world
otherwise, words like hijab, burka, polygamy, and Sharia seem to do
little but convince people that Islam oppresses women. Even educated,
articulate women fulfilling the modest conditions of hijab can do little
to dispel the myths. Women who conduct themselves with decorum and
grace and function effortlessly in the modern world have their
achievements and successes celebrated. However, if a woman wears a
scarf, covers her hair or puts her religion above worldly pursuits she
is immediately labelled oppressed. One wonders if this is the case for
women of other religious persuasions.

Bought a Look Grill pan about 15 years ago, used it yesterday, it still works just as well as it did when we bought it! Clean-up is just as easy as always. I can only compare the lasting quality of this pan to cast iron, as it is still just like new!

I've never seen it for sale here and I'm not allowed to ever go back to Iceland.

I was given a Look pot for making large batches of soup-all bones from a 25 lbs. turkey big. The non-stick started to peal after about 2 years. Because it was a gift and the giver did not keep the receipt I was stuck with it. A store here in Oregon was selling this pot for over $250. I have not used it in many years and I would not buy a Look product now.

Yeah, but he has cookware that peals. I imagine it sounds good in his
kitchen.
