yesterday was such a languishing day I RIPPED almost a solid HOUR (20+20+20min) except the bastard Billionaire Asshole that bought Youtube decided to start interrupting with as popup which says "Are you still watching?"

I'm NOT watching, Billionaire Asshole, I'M LISTENING! :-)

And on WinXP like on my Toughbook in the basement some Youtubes play for days! Because the Asshole thinks WinXP no longer exists! BUT IT DOES! :-)

I never 'make" my bed, I just straightened out the waterbed sheets sometimes. And I always cook and wash my own dishes! I cooked a new batch of Garlic Potatoes yesterday! YUM!

After my current Cuppa Plus I'm gonna cook my dinner too! YUM! A VSTD Meal which I earned ripping an hour on my Nordicrtrack on Sunday! My day OFF!

This is a house we're going to look at for my son.

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/7542-Trenton-Ave-Saint-Louis-MO-63130/2720227_zpid/

They obviously didn't take much care to spruce it up for buyers. It's got
a very nice yard, almost parklike. The lot looks even larger when you're
there. We've seen the outside twice, from the sidewalk, as we were
looking in that area. The floorplan looks a bit stupid, with a too small
living room, and they didn't show pix of the basement at all, but it's
priced right, less than John paid for just his roof and gutters. Plus, the
seller is paying 100% of the $4K+ closing costs.

You have sunk far more money into that house than it would sell for, correct?
If you had bought a modest house, you'd have enough money left from your
inheritance to coast to retirement without needing a job. It seems that, like
Donald Trump, you can't admit your past failures, and can't stand losing
face. I wish that the bullies would quit being so mean to you, even though I
did so much worse a few years ago. The difference is that I was justified in
doing so, because you were the antagonist, and I don't regret it because you
deserved it.

This whole Covid thing has softened me, and I don't have it in me anymore

Betrayed? How? Because after all these years of wondering why there was always a certain no REAL interpersonal intimacy between us and then learning about Mental Health Disorders in nursing school I finally had a good bead on YOUR Mental Health Disorder and probably correctly diagnosed you, well, I KNOEW why you feel betrayed. You can still get it, but people don't seem to want it. They want what
they see in magazines and on television.

It's a little fancy for me. I prefer a plain recessed panel, stained and

I tried it and it's true.

On the 7th day, God rested.
After a few years, that day got pretty boring.
So He created American football and TV so He had some good
entertainment. Not long after, He created Buffalo hot wings and nachoes
so He could snack on good food treats during the games.

Eventually, He created Tom Brady for some really good games.

It's largely irrelevant for me. I spend nearly no time in the bedroom during

the day the housecleaner comes, if we have company, and on the day I

Sabbath is still observed by many church-going Scots, especially on
the West Coast.

"There are two simple rules for Sabbath observance.

Ask, Is it necessary? If not, then do not offend God by doing it. If
it is necessary and cannot be done before the Sabbath comes or after it

done.
Ask, Is it an act of mercy? If it does relieve the miserable, then
could it be done as effectively on some other day?"

When my house cleaner comes I take off the sheets and launder them, put
the folded new sheets on the bed and she does the rest. When the
laundry is done, she folds it all and puts the sheets and pillow cases
together in a bundle for the next use.

I start the laundry early and she is here four hours so it is done
before she leaves. I do the whites a day before and fold that myself.

Probably why white had become so popular, they can use MDF. I like
wood. My cabinets are cherry. Stained though, darker than natural
cherry.

I've seen a couple of episodes of House Hunters where a couple of houses
were nixed because the kitchen did not have white cabinets. Maybe some
towns have laws against refinishing them.

They don't count. The worshippers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster
probably revere the Tuesday. There's always something.

If you disagree with someone or have a problem with someone, you want

Nah, he does have some ideas I don't agree with but give him a chance to
explain. I took issue with what he said and asked for explanation.
Agree or not, he is entitled to an opinion and it is up to him if he
wants to explain further.

He can choose to explain more or just let it go as a moment of bad
temper. I'd rather judge him on his meatball recipe since this is a
food centered group. I certainly don't wish him dead but many more
years of a happy life.

I think it's just a current popular house color that changes over the years.
White kitchen cabinets will make your kitchen brighter and look larger.

I originally had dark stained cabinets in my small walk-through kitchen.
Once I painted them white, it immediately brightened up and appeared
larger. Very good change.

Whenever a customer asked me for color advice (in any room), I've always
suggested white ceilings and woodwork. That goes with any wall color
that they want and it still works with any wall color change, years later.

White Power! ;-D

Many rentals use all one color, a light off-white, to appear much larger
and somewhat goes with any decor that the renter brings in.
Good policy for selling your house too. All one light off-white color.

That makes rooms appear the largest.

I've noticed that grey cabinets are becoming more popular, likewise pale
grey rather than off-white paint on walls, and medium grey carpeting,
where a beige might previously have been used.
Also grey upholstery in living rooms.

That's true. Various shades of grey have been popular here for several
years. My carpet is medium gray and works well with many colors.

Also somewhat popular is light gray woodwork and just slightly darker
gray walls. It's a subtle but nice contrast.

My younger brother bought a number of houses and always painted walls a
light beige, figuring that neutral colours would make it easier to sell.
In one house he was showing me the colours he was planning. They were
all light beige and so close to each other that he was confused about
which was to go where. In his current house he stuck to one shade of
beige, with the exception of his dining room where he used an almost
chocolate brown.

I hate painted woodwork. I'm still cursing the previous owner who painted
over the stained door and window casings (but not the baseboard). If
that's the same one who tore up the shoe molding to install carpeting,
he's on my shit list twice.

When I first bought my house a hundred years ago I painted the walls
a Sherwin-Williams "Origami" which looked to be an off-white but was
an ultra subtle gray. Did not look gray in the can nor on the walls, but
when I painted the woodwork bright white it brought out that tiny hint
of gray. It was very pretty and got a lot of good comments.
