THC is the other, which can cause cancer cells to undergo a normal cellular process known as apoptosis or cell suicide.

And can cure cancers! Ask Rick Simpson, who cured his skin cancer with a full plant extraction from the cannabis plant.

And I am a Cannabis Nurse! I did my cannabis nurse course on Marijuana and Cannabis, Breaking the Cycle of Addiction. So I can be certified to grow up to three plants for a specific client. And my Psychiatrist at BJC Outpatient Clinic KNOWS cannabis can be used to treat Bipolar Disorder, which I have.

Hank! My respect for your impeccable trolling just went up.

With the 'Cheech & Chong' pop reference to their "Dave's not here" bit,
you suggest without accusing that the one who is currently posting here
as John is actually a forge-troll.

For sure, the writing is much more rational than we are accustomed to
seeing from John. But perhaps he's just taking all his meds, and now we
see him as more normal.

Kuthe Kuthe slips in and out of demented states. That's a separate mental
disorder from his bipolar fluctuations, which is what his meds are for. There
are windows where he seems intelligent. You should believe me when I say
that he used to be a really smart guy--nerdy smart. I suspect that he could
easily figured out how to fix his leaky sink drain, but that he wanted some
human interaction with a person who didn't know him.

Early onset dementia. It took a great author from us in 2015:

I doubt Kuthe has it. He's bipolar, but we've only seen him in the

No one is holding a gun to Koo-Koo Kuthe's head and making him come to this
group, nor are they forcing him to read or write any posts here. John showing up
here is totally his decision. If he wants sympathy he needs to go into group therapy
where they can all comiserate together.

I truly suspect the reason John is here is for the attention, good or bad, but someone,
anyone is paying attention to him and responding. We're probably the only adults he
interacts with on a daily basis. When have you read that John was at a neighbors
house or they were at his? He doesn't kayak anymore, he doesn't ride a bike with
friends, he doesn't frequent the YMCA, he doesn't go out on a Friday night drinking
with buddies. He interacts with no one but us.

If he wasn't so wrapped up in himself and thinking the world is admiring him he
might have some friends. But then he'd have to tone down that ME! ME! ME!
attitude which I don't think he is capable of doing.

What's the point of racetrack acceleration for urban drivers?

Perhaps if you drove with more care, your electric car would spend

You made an acquaintance at the laundromat, that's not a friend. Just someone you
met. If they're your 'friend,' when are they coming to your house for supper? When
are you going to their house for supper? Do you and this new 'friend' have any plans

I don't believe your yard shoes tore up your dryer, your dryer doesn't have it out for your

Only an imbecile drys shoes in a clothes dryer, they will shrink so
you can't fit your feet in them... shoulda hung them out on a line and
not in direct sun. Would be good to insert an adjustable shoe tree so
they'll hold their shape and size. I have adjustable shoe trees that
I sometimes use to make a shoe wider and a bit longer and it
accomodates inserts for bunyans. I got mine from Amazon, I think they
were $20. They're well made and work well. It's best to stretch
shoes a little at a time over a couple of weeks. I don't know how
those shoes broke your dryer, should have dried some large bath towels
at the same time to cushion the pounding from your horse/donkey shoes.

I hang a few things from the shower curtain rods on hangers but I've
never had a problem with a dryer not drying my clothes in one cycle.
Yes, there are different temperature, fabric types and time settings,
always large enough to handle it.

Perhaps he only owned an apartment sized one. The little electric ones
that run on a regular 110V circuit are VERY slow drying, take 2 cycles,
and can overload easily. Apartment sized gas dryers are efficient and
work well, however.

I've lived in a number of apartments but never had an "apartment size"
washer & dryer. Always full size. Even the stackable washer & dryer in
avocado green accommodated my king size bedding and dried very
efficiently. (I have never used a gas dryer.)

I have only used a gas dryer a few times, never in a house that I've
lived in. It cuts the time almost in half. I stopped my gas line (had
to re-plumb my whole house) with a valve and a cap, so I could easily
continue it to my dryer area at some point. I currently own a small gas
apartment dryer. Who knows where I got it, but I've been told they work
well also. Natural gas is far cheaper than electric here, even though
electric isn't expensive.

I've also used the apartment electric dryers, and can say from
experience that they are downright awful. Maybe they'd be OK with only
a small load of socks, or a pair of pants and a few shirts. You have to
dry the wash load in halves for it to reasonably work.

Speaking of washing and drying running shoes. Alone in a dryer, they're
too heavy and constantly bang around. I can understand the dryer breaking.

To dry athletic shoes:
1) put in dryer along with a couple of dry bath towels
2) better to open them up and set them under a ceiling fan
or in front of a smaller table top fan
3) On a dry windy day, set them outside to air dry

As I said Jill, washers are big, dryers are small and always leave
clothes damp so I quit using them. Everyone has different machines and
conditions. I hang all my laundry inside for a day. No worries and no
bird poop from hanging them outside.

Has worked well for me for many years. Funny how that bothers some people.

Good grief.

The capacities of my washer and dryer are well matched. If I wash a
king-size comforter, it does take a couple of 70-minute cycles and I have
to pull it out and turn it once each cycle. But that happens so rarely that
it's not worth talking about.

The heaviest load I routinely wash and dry are towels. 60 minutes on
"normal" and they're as dry as can be. Drier, in fact, than anything
else in the house, given that the humidity is usually over 50% here in
the summer.

This is just like the pot roast thing, isn't it?

The dummy probably doesn't know there is a temperature setting on dryers
that he can set for low/delicate things and all the way up to its' highest
setting for things like blue jeans and towels. He probably throws a mixture
of everything in the dryer, leaves it set on low or medium, and then bitches
about clothes not being dry after 30 minutes.

It's a good time to be in the flipping business! I was selling wooden
desks for 10X what I paid for them when the pandemic started. Every
work/school at home person and their brother wanted a desk - and stores
were cleaned out. Not stupidly over-changed -- that'd be cruel -- but
the desks that I paid maybe $10/15 for, cleaned up, and once sold for
$50/60 were now easily selling for twice that much, if not more.

Many things are in short supply.
In the rural Illinois area where I grew up gas is
sometimes not being delivered to stations, no drivers
for the delivery trucks, highly annoying when you live in the sticks.
Metal for our manufacturing students is so expensive/unavailable that the welders
can only come in two mornings per week, formerly they were in four full days.
The machinists now have to practice with plastic instead of metal. And one of
our major
manufacturing partners may
have to curtail
or even shut down - no microchips... they
make commercial seating equipment.

Even though a dryer is lightweight (compared to a washer), it's still a
2 person job. John has a half basement though...only 5-6 steps down
using the outside entrance which I'm sure they would use. Much easier
than the inside full set of stairs from the 1st floor.

Gary

That will help somewhat but then you still have to give them moving air
later or the insides will mildew.

That's an easy fix too though. If they're damp and start to smell, just
give a spray of Lysol inside then put a fan on them to dry completely.

His dryer is probably in the basement. It might be best to just get
some wooden dryer racks and use them. With just one person, this is
easy and year round.

I have had a smaller one when we lived in Miura-cho. Stacking type.
It was smaller (both parts) but still did the job. We just had to do
more loads. I don't recall seeing a laundromat in Sasebo. Maybe on
base in the barracks. There was probably one at the 'Gateway Inns and
