Mostly just wondered if anyone made themself sick from their coking. I did once in the past with undercooked rice as a filler in meatloaf.
I once thought I'd made myself sick with my cooking. I made some
potato and leek soup. I ate one bowl in the evening, then a couple of
hours later the stomach pains and diarrhoea started (screw TMI ;)...
then, for the next two to three days, excruciating pain, sweating and
never ending diarrhoea. Oddly, not much nausea. I blamed that soup, of
course. Anyway, once I thought I could drive to the doctors, I did.
Turns out I had a really bad dose of Giardia. I lost nearly 8KG in 3
days... seriously.
And the soup? I threw the whole pot out :(
It was one of my better P&L soups, too.
