ps- this was posted before, but the thread (even the original post) seems to
have evaporated. So I never saw the results of my poll.
Thanks!

If a pig loses its voice, is it disgruntled?

Just a guess since it's not a word I use a lot :-) I'd say RA-BAY. Probably
wrong.

Oops, sorry about that.
It is pronounced, rah-bay. The plural, rabi, is pronounced rah-bee.

Probably from someone else who can't spell pronounced.

Try going to your AOL dictionary and looking it up and then clicking on the
Pronunciation link, where you will hear how to pronounce the word.

He can't pronounce most of the French and Italian cooking terms either.

Snot, I doubt Jen will believe you... I've already posted that same dictionary
entry, twice, including instruction to click on the Audio function, and I
posted the concurring pronunciation from Epicurious... many folks have
responded with various and sundry versions and still she's milking her post for
way more than it's worth... at this point I believe Jen has crossed way over
the line into Troll Territory.

Sorry I duplicated your efforts, Sheldon - I don't
have a state of the art reader at work! Not sure what
happened here, but if Jen did lose her first thread,
it's easy enough to do a google and find it.
