6 days since I went last week. This time at about 8:30am.

Very few people (about normal for that time of day).
Again they had plenty of everything except still a bit
slack in the paper aisle.

STill no paper towels (but I have plenty). They do have
Kleenex tissues now (but I never buy those).
Surprisingly, even a few (maybe a dozen) large packages
of toilet paper. 3 different brands that I've never
noticed before but they were overpriced. About $10
a pack for 12 double rolls.

I always buy a different brand, same size for about $6.
As I still have a good one month supply left, I skipped
it. Hopefully my brand will come back by then.

Anyway, when I went last week it seemed like most people
were wearing masks and I felt a bit like a leper. heh heh
So yesterday, I wore a mask inside - first time ever
during this time.

Well, this is a thick, better than average, dust mask and
I hated wearing it at work and didn't like it in the
grocery store either. Damn thing wanted to suffocate me.
With it on, you end up breathing less oxygen and more
CO2. I actually pulled it off my face a few times.

Oh well. Store seems to be getting back to normal. I'll start
going once a week now. Going early is the key to avoid
crowds but then, that's always been when I go.

This week our town decided to make mask - wearing mandatory in public. However, WHERE CAN YOU GET A FUCKING MASK...!!!???

I've ordered a couple, but they will take some time to get here...and may I add that the prices are a true rip - off...just got an email notice from one of the retailers, tracking shows that it will be shipped from CHINA...so those bastids will get my $32.00...

Until then, I've got a scarf that will do, and a friend whose wife is in health care is sending me several, should arrive very soon...

Requiring PPE when there is virtually NONE available is very poor planning...

Yep...last several visits stock was getting somewhat back to normal. However, now will peeps start hoarding meat as the processing plants are shutting down...

The quilting club in town has been making masks. My wife primarily
knits but she does do some quilting. They've been tested and give
better filtration than surgeon's masks. I have one, wore it shopping
yesterday, and it's more comfortable than the paper masks... thing is
they all fog up my glasses, however the N95 paper masks I have contain
a valved exhalation port so fogging is minimal:

Yes, they work great, and if you find it wants to slip down wear a baseball
cap. Pull the knot through the opening in the back of the cap and it will
keep it from slipping down.

Ah, thanks! Until I get my masks I've a nice lightweight scarf (scented with 4711!) that I can do this with...

And SHOPPING - wise, I just snagged an Amazon Fresh evening delivery...first time in about six weeks that they had a window open...pretty good selection, too...!!!
