Are all of your feral cats not neutered and spayed??

There is a feral tom cat that has been around my neighborhood for y-e-a-r-s.
I've almost gained his trust as he will let me pet him when I feed him. He
will sleep in a front porch chair waiting for me to feed and water him. But
he still jumps down and backs off until his bowls are full then he'll let me
pet him.

Thanks to a quirk in human biology, even a cranky old geezer with a questionable liver can become a proud papa. Just put that guy out to stud with fillies under the age of 40. My guess is that he'll never see the kid enter grade school.
