She's hard to get a hold of, has some broodmares with shipped-in-utero
foals due soon, but will eventually return messages and is pretty
knowledgeable. Good luck.

OR there is the problem of only some of your post's showing up. get's
frustrating to see responses of responses of your post, but not your post.
Michelle, shutting of computer to go out side and look at some reliable
posts.
To be more specific: The Poles hot brand their horses. On one side is
the foaling number. The other side is the Stud that bred them. Janow
has used the symbol of a crown with the letter J attached under the
crown. Michalow uses a number. I'm not sure about the other two
Studs-Bialka & Kurozweki. The brands also become part of their markings
and are displayed on their registration paper.
The freeze mark is preceded by a block letter A-if upright it signifies
a purebred Arabian, if lying on its side it signifies a part-bred. The
freeze brand is displayed in 90 degree angles (L, <, >, for example).
Each angle signifies a number from 2-9. The number 0 & 1 are signified
by = or ||. Once a person knows what each angle is, then the
registration number is determined.
I hope this helps. Check out the Registry's home page at
