Met a friend at Silver Creek (another friend had to pick me up, since the
truck has the drive shaft out and the flex lines are out of the
motorhome...). Two Tennessee walkers, one walker cross, and an appendix
Quarterhorse.
I was told Ice doesn't let anyone get ahead of her, won't stand, and won't
go in the woods (I assume they meant off trail?) We had a couple of
discussions on the subject of "I'm driving", she had one little stop,
pseudo-rear, spin, snakey head twist and bob, alaman left swing your partner
episode, at which point she was advised not to start a bitch contest with me
as she *would not* win...and then we gaited off like a champ, bobbing her
head and clacking her teeth, down the road, front back middle, through big
wide long deep dark puddles, past everything but the white fungus...all it
takes is an occasional muttered threat of murder and mayhem and pretending
the reins are made of embroidery floss.
All that and free to boot - life is good. Only down side - I'll probably
have to cough up for a decent gaited saddle...ah, well, didn't pay anything
for the horse.

>Well dang, it just keeps getting better...
It sure sounds it!
Congrats on a good "free horse".
However.
You've got this pink horse - have you considered doing a Pink Ribbon
Ride? ;-)

I predict this "Pink House" story arc will be one of those beloved ones,
up there with Louise locking Nancy in the feed room and Ruth's two
goatees. Yes that good. :)

LOL! I might just have to do that if there's ever one around here!
Cricket
I just hope it doesn't involve excitement like broken arms...ouch...

Well that's just great! But, I have to say, I'm missing
something...what is the "pink horse" part refering too? <:-\
Congrats on your new addition. Many fun trail rides to come I'm
sure! JJ

Well, theoretically she's roan...but a very light, totally even all over
roan...ah, hell, she's pink.
I tell people that, and they laugh, and then they see her, and they
say..."Oh...she *is* pink."
A yup. Told ya.
Cricket
Oh, now I remember you mentioning this before...sorry - it's hard to
retain all these details. I'd LOVE to see her! You have a "My Pretty
Pony" in Pink! (Sorry - ducking)...JJ
