I entered a photo I took of my cat Grant today. It's there now if you want
to look at all. Not a horse, but that is how I found this pic; by entering
his photo.

OB horsey: Grant likes to smell me when I come back from a lesson. (Does
that count?)

Certainly. But How do I find it? There are pages and pages of cat photos.

Found it! "My man Grant"

http://www.betterphoto.com/gallery/dynoGallDetail.asp?photoID=274971&catID=560&style=&contestCatID=2

He's a beauty. Looks cuddly. My family owned a black boy cat named
"Alice".

Thanks. I think he's pretty too. Alice? Alice Cooper?

My son had a male cat he named *Abbie* - he found him half dead under out
house nearly eaten away by abscesses - hence the name Abbie - we nursed hm
back to health and had him for another couple of years. Turns out he was
nearly 10 and was still intact (that was the first thing on the agenda after
health was regained). A sweeter animal you wouldn't want to know. Still miss
that one.

Nope. My parents just let us pick whichever name appealed and I guess we
thought he was a girl.

Good luck in the photo contest. Please let us know if you win.

This is a photo? It doesn't look like a photo. Or is that the idea?

I kinda like photos to look like photos.

Interesting. Just not my cup of tea.

I liked your photo, though.

Wow, Karen!

What a beautiful cat and a beautiful picture! It really makes you
wonder what he's looking at so intently...

I'd think so. <grin>

Thanks for sharing these photos...the horse/dog photo says "Fun" under
it but the dog doesn't necessarily LOOK like IT'S having fun! ;-)

Take care, JJ

Cats see things we don't...

Can't remember where I read that but I have always remembered it because it
seems true.

I think all animals can see/hear/smell/sense things we "lowly" humans
can't. <grin> They are just coming at the world from such a
different "place." Beautiful picture though...I hope you have that
one framed and on display somewhere...

Take care, JJ
