Dear Woodturning Newsgroup,

I thought that users of this newsgroup may be interested in a new Website
which has recently been set up at www.ashemcrafts.com.

Ashem Crafts are makers of high quality rotary planes as well as many other
essential tools and equipment for the chairmaker, furniture maker and
general woodworking enthusiast.

Ashem Crafts have also produced a country chairmaking, a booklet and they
sell a range of chair plans.

Ashem Crafts also deliver excellent chairmaking courses both in England and
the USA.

Peter Hindle, the director of Ashem Crafts, has been making and using rotary
planes for over twenty five years. He has been involved in adult education
and has been a craft teacher in schools and colleges for over thirty five
years. He has demonstrated the techniques of making a Shaker chair and run
workshops at the Shaker Art of Craftsmanship Exhibition at the Barbican Art
Gallery in London.

The site is full of photos of tools, chairs and craftsmen at work as well as
a great deal of other information you may find useful.

I hope that some of you may find this site of interest.

Regards,

Chris (the Ashem Crafts Webmaster)
