There is an article in Fine Woodworking Jan/Feb 1985 that has a couple of
pictures of David Pye's machines.....

The fluting engine is described in detail in: David Pye Wood Carver and
Turner published by Craft Council 1986, ISBN 0 903798 88 3

Thanks to Lennart's identification of the publisher, I
was able to track the book down at the Craft Council's
website, which is locatable at


www.craftscouncil.org.uk

I've not yet located a US distributor for the book, but the Council
apparently does mail order.
