I recently just read a blog about big alcoholic beverages in Japan. Of
course the first big alcoholic beverages is Sake that it has been a part
of every Japanese, even their food is better tasting if you drink Sake
with (e.g. Sashimi).

"Sake tastes a little like weak vodka that is drunk straight. The
alcohol content is about the same as wine. It’s quite a clean taste but
flavour varies wildly from sake to sake so drink around!"

But the one that caught my eye in that article is Haichu... What is
Haichu? According to the same blog, "This would be the ladies drink of
choice. It’s the Japanese version of the alcho-pop. Basically carbonated
alcoholic fruit juice – it comes in the same size cans as beer. It’s the
perfect drink for those who like the feeling of being a little drunk but
don’t like the taste of alcohol. I’m almost certain these drinks would
get extremely sickly after a while."

This is the first time I heard about Haichu. Anyways, I just wanted to
share this one to you all.
