I have been searching for mail-order catalogs to purchase yarn. Does this

Mary Maxim has a nice collection of kits it you want to knit with
acrylic. I have't found a web sight for them but I can e-mail their
address for a free catalogue if you would like. Good Luck.

And lots more if you go searching the Internet using the word *yarn*.
Usual disclaimers apply, I'm just a fiberholic with Internet access.

I am about at my wits end looking for size 0 double pointed needles. Does
anyone know where I can find these? All the craft stores in S. Central VA
are slowly depleting their knitting equipment from inventory. Things are
getting harder to find. Mail order is great-- since the nearest city of
any size is a 45 min. drive.
Thanks.

Try Patternworks at www.patternworks.com. They have lots of great knitting
supplies as well as yarn.

Where in Southside VA are you? I'm originally from Chase City.

Living in a rural, isolated area, I've used mail order to buy yarn for
years. The best source of information about mail order companies I've
ever found is the classified and display ads in Knitter's magazine. I
used to pore through the ads even more diligently than I read the
editorial content. They still are the richest source of info about mail
order knitting supply companies.
