I have a Tina I that is a little over a year old now and
love it. I had to wait about a month before it was shipped
but that was due to the fact that they had reserved their
supply for SOAR. They were just starting to make the Tina II
and Audrey Jensen asked if I'd like one. I was a bit nervous
about buying it sight unseen especially after all the time I
spent test driving!
You might want to try Bountiful in Estes Park, CO. (970)
586-9332. They seem to have taken over the Jensen's ad space
in SpinOff and show nothing but Jensen's in the ad.
Mail order isn't so bad. My wheel came direct from Jensen
through the mail and was well packed. Consider that it has to
be shipped to a dealer as well.
Best of luck and happy spinning!

Try contacting the Jensens direct. I've heard this rumor too and don't
know if its true. I have an older Tina and dearly love it.

I spoke with Audrey Jensen at The Spinning Wheel Shop earlier this year.
I don't know what the wait for a Tina II is, but did find out that they
are not making the Tina (original, 3 legged) anymore at this time. I
think you could contact them directly to find out about how backlogged
they are, and I think they sell direct as well. Their address is:

I have a Tina, but am very intriqued by the Tina II. It has a larger
drive wheel, 4 legs, and a vertical lazy kate (on the original Tina the
bobbins are oriented horizontally instead). I love my Tina and the
Tina II looks even better. It has higher ratios, too, if you're
interested in that. Good luck with finding one!

If you have an original Tina, there is a high speed kit for
it. It includes whorl and 4 high speed bobbins to be used
with Scotch tension. I've got one on the way along with a
ultra high speed whorl which will bring my Tina to 18:1.
Makes a great little wheel even more versatile.
