I have a problem getting the bobbin hook to pick up the needle thread.
It misses.
The bobbin hook case turns around on a gear underneath the machine. The
case can be adjusted by adjusting two allen screws which loosen the
gear.
The needle runs on cycles from left to right when zig-zag is on.
The needle rod has two timing marks on it.
I can't get it. Any one with instructions can fax to 1-909-363-9150 or
write down the rule for me, I would really appreciate it.
Here are what I think are the instructions:
1. Place setting on zigzag 5
2. When needle comes ALL THE WAY DOWN in the LEFT position, the highest
needle rod timing mark should be flush with the needle rod cylinder.
3. Once adjustment 2 is made, turn the wheel until the needle comes up
just a little bit and the lower needle rod timing mark is flush with the
needle rod cylinder.
4. Turn the hook case around until the point of the hook is exactly
behind the center of the back of the needle about 1/32" higher than the
center of the needle eye.
And that is supposed to do it! -- It doesn't.
Any help would be appreciated.
