Hi

Following up my own post about fabric for a lightweight, quick drying
travel sleeping sack, I was browsing a bit more and found this
website:

http://www.silkconnection.com/products/fabric/silk/habotai/

Anyone have experience with this online fabric store? The prices seem
great and for me the color doesn't matter. I was looking at the 8.5 mm
36 width one, though I'm not sure what weight would be best....

Thanks again for any help

How do they measure weight in mm??? Personally I'd be reluctant to
buy a silk for that use without seeing and touching it first.

My personal preference is to use polyester. I made a sleeping bag liner
(that I use without a sleeping bag on warm summer nights) out of
Polartec microfleece. It's like a flannel rather than a bulky fleece.

I also made one out of brushed polyester that's even lighter. It's
quite light and sheer and dries in no time. Only available in black,
it's sold as a lining material.

I got both from Textile Outfitters, but they're available elsewhere.
