Well, you can in Detroit:

We're partial to Collin Street Bakery fruitcakes from Corsicana, Texas.
However, last year we made them using the recipe in Joy of Cooking. Not
difficult at all and the results were tasty.

Howdy!
I agree, Nann. We Cruise down there about this time of year,
pick up a couple of fruit cakes, sample the other goodies in the bakery,
and marvel at the best public restrooms we've ever seen--at the bakery. <G>

I smell a fruitcake swap getting started!!!! I make a great fruitcake (so I
am told) and I make about 20 of them every year for Christmas. Don't you
know that I usually end up giving away the one I make for our house because
someone begs until I give in.

Jane Parker FC's were orginal made and sold by the A&P store chains. Jane
Parker I believe was a trade name for their products. I don't know if these
stores are any where around now. They were here in our town and state. Hope
you find them. Betty

I remember Ann Page being a trade mark for the A&P products. Anyone else
remember this?

Hi, I worked for the A & P for years. Ann Page is/was one of the
store brands. The fruitcake was definitely Jane Parker, another of
the A & P brands, AFAIK
