I am getting ready for the quilting phase of a watercolor quilt. I used
the Dina Pappas method of pressing the fabric onto fusible web, then
sewing the seams. That worked great, and it looks beautiful. My
question is this: how forgiving is the fabric/web combination going to
be during quilting. I mean, if I have to rip (and I usually do.... :(
) will the previous stitching line be visible since it's on the
webbing? I've put off starting the quilting because I'm so afraid that
the end result will look like a big ol' piece of perforated paper.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks!

Karen

I have just done machine stippling on these and it has worked pretty well. all
those thick seams make hand quilting impossible. Just a few steps back from
the quilt and you won't notice the square piecing.
