I was wondering... do any of you use this when washing your fabric.
The advertising states it has Dye Magnet in it and prevents bleeding.

Wonder if it would work on newsdenim. H-u-m-m.

Test it for us, Kate. I have a red, white and blue quilt that's finished
except for the label and want to wash it before shipping. I would simply be
unbearable if it decided to run the colors. Polly

Not until you corral your pets. That big old gator of yours escaped
and was found sunning itself on Courthouse road in Gulfport, of all
places. You shouldn't feed them so much. Eleven feet and four
hundred pounds is a little much to have wondering the streets at
daybreak. Allstate and State Farm have been inquiring about the
disappearance of their adjusters lately.

Those adjusters may have fallen prey to outraged clients, from what I
have heard. They are beating the gators to them I think.

I asked about this detergent back in September: Zero detergent
(Canadian name!) Still haven't bought any to try out - my laundry is
done by my sister and so far there hasn't been a reason (quilted
project) to try it out. jennellh

Ok, ok, I'll send him our Allstate fella..and my aunt's Dr. that'll lure him
back home.

Butterfly ( I'm sorry I was so remiss on sending him his dinner)

Hey Butterfly

I finally got the whole story on this fella. He was caught north of
the coast highway without a hunting license and sunbathing in the
nude.

Glad it was him and NOT me. Did he say why he had to 'cross the street'
instead of staying in his own backyard?

Butterfly (at least he wasn't intoxicated to boot!)

I can just 'see' the face of someone that causally checked out our group to
see what we are all about

I doubt they'd venture to give him a sobriety test but he could have been a
wee bit tipsy - gaggles of moonshiners out here, don't you know. Polly

Kate, When I have new blue jeans, the first several
times, I wash them with older ones in hopes that any
color run will perk up the older denim.

And then the older denim picks up the excess dye from the new ones in
streaks and blobs and you are suddenly the height of fashion! VBG

With all the interesting threads and thimbles that
dangle from us, I figured all of us (quilters) already
are the height of fashion. ;)

Kiwi usually has at least one tiny bit of fabric/cotton attached to his
fur - usually tail and usually an assortment of bits.

Does this mean he's fashionable too. (He says that as chief QI here he
definitely should be classed as a quilter.)
