I've heard so much about Inspirations, but I can't seem to get my hands on
one. I like to do surface embroidery, and all I can find are cross-stitch
magazines.
Does anyone here know where I can find Inspirations in the Boston area?
Or in the Hampton, NH area? Or if anyone has one they don't want, I'll
pay for it and the postage. :)
Thanks,
~Pam~
*I found an embroidery magazine, it is from Austraila. It is called
*Inspirations, put out by Counrty Bumpkin. I found it at the sewing and
*crafts expo they had here this past spring. Some very pretty stuff in
*there!
The info you need to subscribe is in our FAQ, I am sure. It is a
truly gorgeous magazine--each issue is really more like a book
with marvelous photography and the best stitch instructions I have
ever seen. It isn't cross stitch--mostly other types of embroidery
including silk, wool, needlepoint, canvaswork, etc. The projects
are very unique. I've been subscribing since it started a couple
of years ago--buy all the back issues you can afford before they
are gone! They are treasures :-)

Hi Pam,
If no one near you can tell you where to get it, I know of
a source where you can mail order it from.
Her name is Florence Worcester and her business is
Wrapped in Stitches.
Florence is located here in Sacramento, CA. She is our
Brazilian Embroidery supplier but she carries a large line
of embroidery books. She also carries the magazine "Cross
Stitch and Embroidery" from Australia. The quality of the
magazine is the same as Inspirations.
I'll give you her number and address but you will have to
wait about a week to contact her as she and her DH are
taking a much needed vacation. If you decide to get them
from her, she has no problems doing mail order.

Always Learning ... good and BAD! And having fun doing it!
In case no one responded, you can get a copy of Inspirations to check out
at several retail stores - none are in your area - but they carry it, and
you can order it.
Try: Southern Traditions, Linda's Silver Needle, and I believe Lydia's
also carries it. You can get to all these locations from the links and
resources pages of my web site: http://bayland.net/~tom+di/heritage.html
