Hi all,

I'm looking for suggestions for laundry/laudry-room themed patterns and
projects. The only one I've found so far is the Laundry Basket. It's
cute, but I'm curious if anyone has seen or done any others.

Maybe the laundry chore will not be so mundane if I have something nice
(or humorous) to look at....

Thanks,

Christine Wood

HI Christine,

I just got a Stitchery Catalog in the mail last week. And I seem to remember
that there's a cute little wall hanging that spells out the word "Laundry"
with little laundry-like pictures with each letter. They do have a website
(www.thestitchery.com) and it's probably there. Otherwise, private e-mail me
and I'd be happy to send you my catalog. I really do need to get it out of
here because otherwise, I'll just order stuff for my stash that I won't get
to till the next millenium!

Best,
Laurie

A few years ago I decided to hang all of my seasonal pieces in my
laundry room during their "off season" It's a strange conglomeration,
but I get to enjoy them every day, and no one else sees them there.
Just a thought,

Well if you are a cat fan - the Kats By Kelly stuff is soooooo
cute. . . there's one called In-sync (cat is in a bathroom sink)
- sort of, vaguely a laundry theme. . .

No matter how many times I see any of them - they make me smile!

My favorite (even though I can't remember the name of it) is done on pink
material, woman speaking to man reading newspaper: I'm doing the laundry
today - what color do you want your underwear to be? I made a wire hanger
for it, and used little clothespins to hang it on the hanger. Makes me
smile every time I look at it.

They have 3 Laundry charts/kits. If you type "laundry" into the search
box for the site, they will pop up. On is the various articles of
clothing that spell out "Laundry", one is a laundry basket, and one is a
"Laundry Room"

Hi, Christine!

Bobbie G has a cutie that shows a woman elbow-deep in washtub suds looking grim
... the caption says "I live for laundry." I have it in my laundry room. You
can see the pattern on the Hoffman site

Hi Christine,

How about Country Bloomers from Jeremiah Junction? It has a girl hanging her
bloomers on the line. Sort of laundryish...is that a word? well anyway you
get the meaning! lol :D

Just my suggestion as I am currently working on it at the moment!
