I had never heard of Ruth Dilts till I went to a shop in Chipping
Campden last Saturday. They had one basket of charts of the 'modern
needlepoint' type, which I went through and bought two, one of which
was Woven Feathers by Ruth Dilts. Uses lots of different stitches and
threads like Patina, Fiesta, Balger etc.

Does anyone know more about Ruth Dilts, and what else she has done?

By the way the Chipping Campden shop was the best I have seen in
Britain. I haven't been to them all yet, but I'm working on it :)

I just received a Ruth Dilts design called Patchwork from the
Nordic Needle. It is one of those "created especially for
Rainbow Gallery" designs. The design is reminiscent of a log
cabin quilt square, but where every strip of fabric would be is
a different fiber and stitch. This design uses the following
Rainbow fibers: Bravo!, Flair, Neon Rays, Patina, Pebbly
Perle, Tiara, and Gold Dust. I really like that is has four
different color schemes to choose from. The very center of the
design even has some pulled thread work. I really like this
design, and I will keep my eye out for some of her others,
although for the time being, this one must remain a USO - I am
trying to finish all my UFOs.
