Some may (nor may not) realize that we are offering our first ever formal
needlework study trip to London in October. I've taken friends along for
years but not as an "organized activity". The group is limited to 12
stitchers and I have a couple of openings left if anyone is interested.

You can check it out at www.skinnersisters.com/tour

In any event, we will be coming home with heaps of "boring" stories and
excellent adventures to relate<G>

Hi Linn,

Oh how I'd dearly love to go, but alas, due to the lack of $$$, I can
only wish (sigh).

I checked out your website(s) regarding this tour, and I couldn't help
but notice that all the gateway cities (save one = Las Vegas) are either
East or West Coast -- nothing in between like Chicago, St. Louis (major
hub), or even Houston or Dallas. Just thought I'd point this out as a
mid-westerner (IL) :)

Sweet Stitching!!!!

That is drool hitting the keyboard. How mean of you to even suggest
it - we have one child in flight school (state school, he is living at
home and it's STILL over $14,000 for this year!) and there is NO
chance I could go. But wouldn't it be just so lovely??!! I hope you
have a *most* wonderful time - I really enjoyed hearing about your
trips to study there and I know you know of all the best spots to go!
Maybe someday - how many of these do you plan to do? Can't wait to
hear about it. Paula B.

We plan on going every October and if we get enough interest in the Spring
as well - to coincide with a spring needlework show.

Virgin is our airline, but they are arranging connecting flights on their
partners for transport to a gateway city.<G> We have some mid west folk
coming along very happily.

Kewl!!! Alas, I'd have to win the lottery before I could afford the
trip (sigh). I wish I could otherwise ;)

There is one in London in late March/early April. This year it was in April.

I would also loveto be able to go on what sounds like such a interesting trip.
Hope everyone has a great time!

The spring one is the one that is mainly cross stitch. Most of the shows in the
UK tend to be "needlework" and incorporate knitting and dress fabrics too.

The trade show is in February at the Birmingham NEC. This year The Trilogy were
there to give a class and samples and it was great!

Val:

Hi there. Yep, Olympia is mostly cross-stitch but I've noticed heaps of
other stuff creeping in in the last years. Will I see you at Stitches in
Feb?

Hi Linn

I shall be there but sadly not exhibiting. I need to win the lottery to do
that! My dream is to have a stall at a show but I think I shall have to find
someone to "share" it with me and therefore share the cost.

Are you visiting or exhibiting?
