I have two tinted embossing ink pads. Does anyone know if I can use these for
ordinary stamping? What are they usually used for?

(Ok I admit it -- they were cheap and I thought they'd come in useful .....)

Hi. You can only use them if you are going to "dust" them with a powder such as
Pearl-Ex or Perfect Pearls. They are normally used with embossing powders. Hope
this helps. Blessings,Rusty

I know that embossing (pigment) inks can be used for regular stamping,
but often need to be heat-set to get them to dry. That said, embossing
is fun. Find a cool powder and experiment! You can use a toaster or
electric stove burner (with care) to melt the powder if you don't have
an embossing heat gun. Experiment using the inks for regular stamping
and see what happens - if you don't like the results, then you know!
