In my local newspaper there was an ad today stating that Rockome Gardens
is FOR SALE! (2 mil)

It will be interesting to see how this impacts on their National Counted
Cross Stitch show they have each summer.

I'd love nothing more than to see them hire someone who can proof read
their brochure they send out. This years was a MESS! Considering what they
charge for admission and their classes, you would think they could run a
more professional operation.

Wow! I hadn't heard that! I have been going to the Rockome show for
the past several years. I haven't received my brochure yet though.
Hope it didn't get lost in the holiday mail!

Becki I got mine a couple months ago. You could call them or email them
and ask for one I'm sure. It was just a ONE pager with print on each side,
but the number of typos was staggering for such an organization.
Maybe once they sell it they can get some competent help in there to run
the needlework show.

I just received my brochure and letter from the show coordinator. It
definitely was NOT a one pager. IT is quite a nice booklet with pictures
and everything. Considering that teachers proposals only went in about 2.5
months ago, I wonder what Adana saw. Could it have been for one of the
other shows? They have numerous.

Either way, I will be there teaching the first week-end in June. Hope to
see some of you there.

Hello Hello!!!

Visit <http://www.rockome.com/Html/rockome/directions.html> -- there's a
listing of local accommodations (to Rockome) at the bottom of the page.
There are other motels (usual chains), as well, in Tuscola (about 10
miles away) and Mattoon (about 15 miles away), so you may want to do an
internet search for those.
